Quite ok with minor issues. My room had funky smell which is apparently common in old town riga. Didnt enjoy that. Staff was just amazing, location great, easy parking. Did i mention best staff? Anyway, would stay there agin.

The room and bathroom were very clean throughout our stay, thanks to the cleaning staff (we didn’t get the chance to meet them). Room was perfect for us; good mattress, fridge, kettle, toiletries and extras, including soft slippers. Hot water and heating all good. Location of the hotel is strategic, it’s on a street that goes towards the central train station and bus station, it’s near to public transport stops such as buses and trams, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around, even supermarkets. I can highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Metropole Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of my stay was the incredibly comfortable bed.I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to explore the city. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. Whether you're there for business or leisure, the convenience of being in such a central spot is unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The staff were also attentive and helpful, making sure all my needs were met. Overall, I highly recommend the Metropole for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and prime location.

The property is under renovation, the whole floor and my room is with all the furnitures or renovation smell. It’s not a pleasant feel when you walking on the corridor to the room as some areas are renovating and some room doors are open and the furnitures all putting outside the corridor. Other than the location is good I really have bad experience with the smell especially while sleeping I got sinus with all these bad smell. I request to change room and they said is full. I request to fix the safebox battery and end up they didnt do it, I was on business trips and stay for 2 nights it’s a very bad experience for me. If you are renovating the floor pls do not rent iit our or at least clear the smell before renting to others.

UUsuário convidadoThe hotel's central location in the northeast end of Riga's old town made it very easy to explore the city. We were close to the city's main attractions and were within a 5 minute walk to the Cat House, Freedom Monument, Riga/Dome Cathedral, and St. Peter's Cathedral. We booked the room without a window. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. The room was quiet but a bit stuffy and we felt the AC wasn't strong enough. We felt there was still good value with this room though because of the price and there was a lot packed into it. There was a Nespresso coffee machine, tea station, cute tea cups and a large bathroom with a very nice shower. We appreciated that a wall adapter was provided and plugged in that worked with North American style plugs. The hotel is in a building from the 17th century and has a very nice looking mirrored atrium. There is a fun story where a horse threw a shoe, hit this building and stuck so the owner kept it because he felt it was good luck. The hotel has a bar in the lobby as well as a small shop. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast which had a great view of the city from the window and a very good breakfast. The breakfast had a small buffet with cheese, smoked fish, fresh bread and some other nice choices. We enjoyed the variety of drinks like the rhubarb lemonade and hot chocolate. You can order one hot item which included.

The rooms are clean, there is a kettle, and the bed is comfortable. If I come back, I will stay at the same hotel again. You can leave your luggage free of charge after checking out and explore.

Parece um lugar decadente, mas bem equipado e com opções de buffet para todos os gostos. Perto da Estação Ferroviária e do Centro Histórico. O jantar no restaurante no térreo foi excelente. No geral, uma estadia agradável.

GGuest UserGreat location around 15 minute walk from the old city and tucked away in a quiet area off a main road. Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out. The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels. Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.
