Red Roof Inn Richmond, VA - W Broad St

I’m not usually one to right reviews but this is hands down the grosses hotel I have ever stayed at.. our shower was not cleaned properly, there was dirty towels left over from the people who used the hotel room before us and when my fiancé addressed it at the front desk along with asking for more towels he was asked to bring down the other peoples towels instead of the staff coming to our room to grab SOMEONE ELSES dirty towels.. they are just down right rude and did not care about they comfort of their guests stay.

I would never stay here ever again . First the rooms are dirty , bugs in the room and looks like it’s contracted with social services. The first day I came in to check In the guy behind the counter looked high as hell . The next day when I came into my room I found bugs crawling on the floor . I asked to be changed to a different room and they could not accommodate they said they did not have any more rooms and if I wanted a refund I would have to wait until the next day .For breakfast they had bread , butter and jelly and old cereal That’s it! This hotel more like motel is disgusting and looks very unsafe . I would not recommend to anyone. Not worth it .

From the road it doesn't look bad and its not a roach motel but definitely not worth 100 a night...the beds were kind of lumpy and the pillows were so flat u might as well not have one. I asked for a double queen and ended up w a double full. They do not provide soap,shampoo etc. The staff were very nice, and if u are disabled and cant walk steps do not choose this hotel lots of steps and dont think a room that starts w a 1 is on the first floor it isnt always. The refrigerator was falling apart and microwave did not work . If you r doing more than 1 night choose somewhere else. Im glad i only was staying 1 night. Pictures are deceiving. Carpets will throw your equilibrium off also and i fell down the steps because of it. But i didn't complain

The room was very clean and comfortable. My criticism was that it was unclear where the entrance to the second building was. The door facing the parking seemed to be the obvious entrance but was locked. I had to walk to the other end of the building to find the entrance. Second there was no remote in my room (room 206)

The property is under some construction so everything is dirty. The room was a bit better but still some rundown.

The rooms were dirty and not well cleaned after each guest the hallways were always filthy the stair wells had trash lining them overall do not stay here

It was not good at all. The room we were given originally had cockroaches in it. We addressed this with the staff and they didn’t apologize once. They threw a new room card key at us. It was horrible.

Terrible surroundings and derelict people hanging on the property. Never again would I stay there!

I was relocated from ******* to this hotel after being put in a hotel infested with roaches. This hotel has 3 buildings. Seem as if this is being updated. I was put in the 3rd building out back. Still under construction. Can't believe they allowed me to stay here. Caution tape still all over the place, tvs lined the hallways that were for unfinished rooms. My room was partically finished. Paint all in the sink, friday was gross. All dust and wall switch plates on top of it. Ceilings all apart and all over floor outside my door. Construction crew seem to be living in a few rooms. Felt very unsafe. This will be new once completed. This was king Arthur's inn and being renovated
