Anixis Hotel & Apartments

Fabulous hotel, the staff are so very friendly and there is nothing that seems to be too much trouble for them. We have been visiting this hotel for over 20 years and we are always made to feel so welcome. The pool is very clean and welcoming and the bar area is well stocked and the food is amazing. We love the personal touch that this hotel offers and we will be coming back very very soon.

Wednesday evening 5th July and we spent the night here. It was an overnight stay before we caught an early morning ferry to Halki. As we waited to check-in, we had a drink at the bar area, first Mythos of the holiday. The two guys working in the bar, George and David, we both friendly and welcoming. The lady who checked us in was so helpful and would have happily changed our room from a double to twin, it was not that much of an issue as we were only here for one night. Mistakenly we declined the opportunity to pay extra for air-conditioning in the room for the night. The first floor room itself was a clean but a bit dated and basic. It did have a small kitchenette with a fridge, two ring electric hob, cutlery and crockery. Our double bed had clean fresh linen but the mattress was a bit unforgiving. The bathroom/shower was small and a bit jaded, towels were provided. It got extremely hot in the room during the night and in the absence of no air-conditioning, our fault, it was rather uncomfortable, not the best night's sleep. We did wander outside the Hotel to have dinner in a local area. However we did return here to the bar for a few more beers as it was comfortable and friendly. There was a large supermarket nextdoor, also owned by the Hotel owners.

I had a brilliant holiday. The owners and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone went above and beyond to ensure their guests had everything they needed. The apar**ents themselves were spotlessly clean, and had good facilities. The grounds and pool were also very well maintained. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the beach is just a short walk. I thoroughly recommend the Anixis Apar**ents, and intend to return myself.

This is our second stay at the Anixis, and we will be returning again next year. Glynis and the team(Caroline, George and David) are all fantastic, they treat you like old friends and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport. There are lots of restaurants close by and more are around a 15 minute stroll away. The hotel also has a bar which serves food, a supermarket attached and there is a bakery across the road. It’s just a ten minute walk from the beach and a bus journey away from Rhodes town. We had a great stay again, our room, which just beside the bar and overlooking the pool was perfect for us. The pool area has been refurbished and looks great. We were caught up in the air traffic control issues and our flight home was cancelled. Although eventually Jet2 arranged for us to stay in a hotel, before we were aware of this, Glynis spent time calling around local hotels to see if any could put us up for the night as the Anixis was fully booked. We were also welcomed back the next day to stay until our rescheduled evening flight. Although the hotel was fully booked, Glynis went out of her way to arrange a room for us to store our luggage and shower before our flight. You couldn’t meet more genuine and kind people, thanks so much again for having us and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Each visit to the Anixis feels like we are coming home. Glynis is one of the most genuine people you will meet, nothing is too much trouble and she treats her guests like family. We had a 26 hour delay on our return flight and although technically the hotel was full she moved beds round to make room for us. George and David who work the bar in an evening are a asset to the hotel. They are so welcoming, polite and hard working, i really can not speak highly enough about them. If you want a friendly family run hotel then the Anixis is the perfect place. We have been coming here for 14 years and intend on holidaying here for many more years to come.

Stayed here last year with my husband & daughter in a 2 bedroom apar**ent, which was spacious & clean. Nice bar & restaurant area. Glynis, Caroline & their team were always on hand if we needed them, so friendly & welcoming. We were also able to rent 2 fans from reception at a small charge. Lovely bakery just across the road & a bus stop outside the apar**ent, regular bus service into Rhodes Town. Plenty of places nearby to eat & drink. Will definitely be back 😊🌞xx

We stayed in Katia next door to Anixis but spent every evening at Anixis as a relative was staying there. They couldn’t have been more welcoming to us! Glynis, Caroline, George and David were excellent hosts and really looked after us. They made us feel part of the family! We really enjoyed their hospitality and they made our holiday really special. Thank you for everything!

Just came back from a lovely week at the Anixis. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Apar**ents were basic (as they usually are in Greece) but comfortable and we had everything we needed. The pool area was lovely, we spent a lot of time there. Great range of cocktails at the bar and mocktails for the kids. We had breakfast and lunch from the bar a few times, both of which were tasty. The location was good, lots of nice restaurants in walking distance, plus a supermarket and bus stop right at the property. The bakery across the road is amazing, don't miss it! Also a few minutes walk away is a brilliant little museum of crystals and fossils, many of which were found by the owner himself. The only real negative I would say is the busy road that you have to cross. There is a zebra crossing, but it took us a while to realise that you have to actually step onto the crossing for drivers to stop, they won't stop if you stay on the pavement. Thank you to Glynis and Caroline in particular for making our stay memorable, and giving our son a treat for his birthday. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Ho soggiornato con mio fratello dal 22/07 al 25/07 dopo essere stati evacuati da Kiotari... La responsabile e i suoi collaboratori sono stati sempre più che disponibili con noi e hanno fatto di tutto per assicurarci la stanza per 3 notti nonostante non avessimo prenotato... altrimenti non so proprio dove avremmo potuto dormire perchè non riuscivo a trovare camere disponibili nella zona nord dell'isola... purtroppo non abbiamo potuto godere al meglio di questi 3 giorni perchè eravamo sempre in attesa delle comunicazioni da parte di Alpitour riguardo il volo di rientro anticipato per l'Italia.. così non ci allontanavamo quasi mai dall'hotel se non per più di un chilometro.. nonostante la situazione l'hotel è davvero carino e il personale gentile e disponibile soprattutto la responsabile e David che ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa... non è stata la vacanza che desideravamo ma sono riusciti a rendere le nostre giornate un poco più sopportabili...
