One word.. Outstanding. The staff at this hotel care very much about their guests. Amazing service everyday. Best hotel! They make you feel like a family ❤️🇬🇷 so sad to have left but will be back!!!

First of all, on my first day of arrival I got bitten by bed bugs! They placed us in a room with bed bugs and could not inspect it beforehand and get it disinfected at least. Showers are horrible, AC not working properly, even though towels are changed, they smell really bad. Basically, because of those bits by bedbugs I could not enjoy my long awaited holiday for whole week there were new spots appearing and itching and not in a good condition. Overall, would not definitely recommend to stay here, avoid thus place at all costs. Please see the pictures how it looked. I got bitten not even on the back but also on hands and legs.

Dirty glasses and cutlery, almost all the towels were stained, outdated bathroom, A LOT OF MESS EVERYWHERE. In the last few days, water started to flow from the air conditioner directly onto my luggage which was under it, no one came to fix the problem even though I reported it to the reception. Overall, bad experience

The room is dated, towels have stains all over them. The AC in our room got broken and there was water all over the room, we informed the receptionist about it but nothing changed, nobody fixed it. Dirty glasses at the restaurant! Absolutely terrible!!!!

We booked 2 rooms, one double and one single room. The double room was fair, although the sheets had some small dark spots (blood?) and the matrasses were very uncomfortable. After complaining, we got cover matrasses the next day.
The single room experience however, was a disaster. We have been travelling to Crete 16 times, 11 to Rethymno, and stayed at 6 different hotels. This hotel experience was by far the worst. The first day the hotel was over booked, so the single room person had to stay at another hotel next door. Back to Lefkoniko, we immediate spotted several bed bugs in the single room. First we tried to just remove the spotted bed bugs, but wake up with bed bug activity during the night and painful bites in the morning. The bed bug problem persisted for 2 days, we had to change rooms 3 times with no luggage transfer service, and had to cope with very unfriendly reception personnel that did not take the bed bug problem seriously despite pictures and recording of bed bug activity, claiming we were "hysteric". We finally got a single room at another hotel, and the unlucky single room person could finally get some sleep.
Rethymno is a great location and we will definitely come back, but never to this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The place is full of bedbugs - so many guests were struggling with bed bug bites. Staying at this hotel will simply ruin your vacation! The hotel staff might be kind enough to get you pills and lotion for your "rash" but they will keep it to themselves (and not tell you) that it is actually bedbug bites! Our entire bodies were covered in bites!

The location of the hotel is really great, it’s a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minutes walk to the city and harbour. But I wouldn’t reccomend the hotel itself. The service isn’t good. We didn’t get the room and beds we booked for, we also didn’t get roomservice for 3 days and the beds aren’t comfortable at all: the mattresses are really hard.

Very outdated. If you wish to stay at a hotel with low standards this is okey. Me and my partner decided to only stay for one night and book another hotel for the rest of the stay, even though we had booked this hotel for one whole week. The floor drain in the bathroom was blocked so the floor was cover in water all the time. The bathtub was damaged and the shower was old, it felt dirty even though it wasn’t. The mirror in the bathroom looked moldy and old. The cleaner did a good job and the room was very clean. We chose the all inclusive package and it worked out well, the drinks were ok and the food was ok, but nothing gourmet. I would not recommend this hotel, you can get a better hotel for the same amount of money. The only thing we liked was the close distance to the beach.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, 800 m from the old city. The only remark is that beds were bit uncomfortable, but the room was clean and the food was really good and tasty. Staff was helpful. A good place to stay if you like to walking to the old city and fortress, but all nice beaches, such as Cactus beach, are just few minutes away, walking distance.
