Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Spa

Stayed here for work a few times. Rooms are always clean and tidy. Luckily this time I got a room in the outbuildings. Very nice room with a sofa. Clean and spacious. The gym is also great. Compact but with the main machines needed. Staff always lovely on the desk.

Family lunch. Went out for lunch and had a lovely meal with my family. Food was excellent, took a little time to come but was worth the wait. Sat inside but there was plenty of seating outside for good weather. There is a spa and hotel attached to the restaurant. Inside could do with a little updating and looked tired in places but this didn’t spoil our experience.

amazing food and treatments left downtown by the outdoor pool it was cold and the spa it’s self was small I would say the Instagram posts have helped it look more glam than it is. The pub again fantastic food and service but the rooms were awful dated and dirty our shower was full of mold it was very expensive for the level of room I wouldn’t return

Stayed as part of the twilight spa package. Very friendly front of house staff, smiley and helpful. Room was well appointed except for really poor bed pillows (lumpy and hard) and no shelf in shower for shampoos, etc. Spa was wonderful. Again, staff were very friendly, food and service was outstanding. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, lots of choice, good quality of food. The only slight downside was we arrived at 9.45am, which was still 15 mins before close of service, but did feel a little rushed towards the end as serving staff seemed more focused on prepping the bar area for the rest of the day whilst we were still eating our full English. A minor point really as the breakfast was delicious but it seemed unnecessary and made us feel rushed. On the whole, a very relaxing stay and treat pre Christmas!

A perfect Birthday Sunday Luncheon. We had the 1650 room which was set out just had we had asked for even an area reserved for Beefy the caricature who did some wonderful drawings. The food was excellent and the service was first class. Thank you .

Stayed as part of a spa break with a friend. Had a room with 2 double beds, plenty of space. Food was great and staff were friendly. Would definitely visit again. Breakfast was really nice with the traditional full English but also plenty of other options. Wine was pricey but that's pretty common wherever you go nowadays.
