-Best staff and very friendly and welcoming. -rooms features are ok - one of the very best room service - i will give 5 star if they maintain rooms properly, some part of floor is damaged, all the wooden decoration needs be refurbish. - life jacket and rubber tubes should be facilitated - combs should be provided - more breakfast items should be introduced They cut is very short We took ice lemon family beach villas Two bed room

Stayed 3 Nights on beach villas. Private beach with magnificent light ambience MAKE this resort truly special. Loved the stay and wide range of breakfast. Staffs are friendly and cooperative. Enjoyed their fire shows in the evening. Will definitely visit again.

I tried to book mermaid for a group of friends to stay. They do not have an online booking system and there was a miscommunication over the phone whereby I ended up booking and paying for the wrong dates. I immediately realised the issue and asked for a refund or for the dates to be changed. The staff were extremely rude and their inflexible policies meant they refused to provide a refund or date change. The customer service at mermaid is terrible. They have a completely inflexible booking system and are far too expensive for what they offer.

Delicacy of Nature, Ornamented by sea, stars were like ants in the sky, this resort is a dreamy way of finding silence and peace. We were like the audience of the nature, pure sound of silence. Love our beach villa and love the way they sermons their service from every end.

Rooms and beach villas are really cool and opposite of Mermaid Eco, very well taken care. Bathrooms are clean and ample, rooms and varandas are beautiful. There are different types of villas, each one with special aspects. This should be better explained to the guests, so that one can better choose where to stay. Food is too expensive for the quality, should be immediately improved. Common spaces are very nice, views are wonderful. Nature is present and the staff is very helpful. For children it is a paradise, since they have freedom, can enjoy the nature and learn wit it!

Well, it's my 3rd time staying at Mermaid Beach Resort. Compare to my previous stay, the overall standard has gone down in many folds. Too many newly constructed rooms/villas has created a mess. However, it's worthy to stay at the beach view bungalows in the full moon, as the tidal waves will reach to your room front. And the bad part is, the pool is not available for all guests. However, still it's the luxury eco resort till now at COXSBAZAR with all facilities.

Their staff behavior was very good and friendly. I like their swimming pool the most. I spend a lot of time at their swimming pool. Had a very comfortable time there. Their food menu is good. Many types of food are available there. The only thing I feel a little bad about is that their food is overpriced.

The concept of this resort is great- lots of up-cycled wood used in building, lots of activities for the kids, and close to nature A little too close to nature, in my son’s words. The room lacked screens on one slated bathroom door that led to the outdoor shower. This meant insects. A LOT of insects. I don’t mind chasing a few grasshoppers out of my room- but having to research springtails because my bed was full of them was not OK. My son had a bug hop into his ear at 4 am- not a great situation. There was a giant can of insect spray in the room- but that should be taken care of by staff WELL before guests arrive. Similarly, my kids would not eat anything at breakfast due to ants in the cereal jars, flies landing on all the fruit, and various creatures floating in anything sweet. The new pool is nice- but you can only enter once each day, which isn’t convenient with kids. Additionally staff selectively admonished some guests to shower before entering the pool but not others (?). I want to like this place - it has great potential and is pretty. It just isn’t maintained well enough. Needs screens! Would also help if AC condensation didn’t puddle on the floor, which is a hazard.

We stay at Mermaid hotel for 1 night. The food is really good, and the rooms are very clean. value for money. but the only issue is they don't have a lift so if you book for standard rooms, you will end up with the 2nd floor but can be manageable. they doing room in dine service and staffs are so freindly
