Joe's Beach Shack - Beach Resort, Ramanathapuram

We had a wonderful stay at Joes Beach Shack Resort .The resort's grounds were beautifully maintained, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, special thanks to Mr Balaji. The amenities were great, with a lovely pool We enjoyed the resort's restaurant. Good for families, has a restaurant on property. Good food and polite staff. I was travel-ling with my six months old baby, they were very considerate and served complimentary breakfast to the room itself.

When we entered the resort they did not offered welcome drink upon arrival. We reached at 4 o'clock and wanted to order snacks but nothing was available in the kitchen and were told to order after 5 o clock dinner was told to be ordered before 5:30 pm. Service was fine but basic amenities were also not available like refrigerator and other items. Overall i was very hopeful with the stay but was not convinced with the price and services offered. This ruined our overall experience for our stay.

Very clean, well maintained, very friendly staff, the greenery is awesome. The rooms are huge and comfortable.

The property is well maintained with greenery around and nature. Limited food options but tasty. Staffs were very kind. Good to relax in the swimming pool, oonjal under banyan trees.

We friends of 4 stayed at joes beach shack for a weekend trip. Everything about the stay was excellent. Service was great as well. I would give 5/5 for our stay.

Although the property is good enough to stay but lack of staff and cleanliness takes away all the charm

Pros. Excellent atmosphere. Well maintained lawn and swimming pool. Food is excellent. Staff service good. Ideal to spend weekend with family. Family villa is 5 star quality. Peacocks inside property. Children enjoys a lot. Cons. Costly. Cottages size is small but adequate for a stay. Insects and frogs entering into restrooms. Need to fix nets on bathroom windows.

Nice a peaceful place and very well maintained with a large area. The villa we stayed was clean, well maintained and spacious with two double beds. Swimming pool is also available. The food was also great and not so expensive. The breakfast was buffet was really good. There is beach in a walking distance, its not so clean but has a nice view. Dhanushkodi is about 1 hour drive from here. Overall it was great experience staying here, would definitely come back here again.
