Rockhill is an overpriced resort, devoid of basic facilities, with rude incompetent staff, and bad food. Below are some facts to consider: - Check-in: It is a struggle through and through. They only accept cash, no exceptions. There was one person manning the check-in desk at 4pm (peak hours on Saturday in peak season). It took really long to check in with no empathy from staff. Once the check-in was finally done it turned out that the room wasn't ready so had to wait for the cleaners. They don't have wifi and except Jio no network gets an iota of network. - Food: They said room rate was inclusive of all meals What you are getting is: 1. Tea and coffee with single digit Good Day biscuits for all guests. If you want tea without sugar, be prepared to wait a while. 2. Breakfast - white bread (no brown), one greasy item like poori, etc. You dare not want toasted bread. If you plead, they will throw some on hot tawa and bring back semi charred bread. They asked us to report for breakfast at 6.30 as we had to leave for rafting at 7am, but it only got ready at 7am and didn't even look edible. 3. Lunch and Dinner are buffets with limited unpalateable looking food (greasy, spicy, kacchi maida roti). Hostel food has been way better that this. On ordering food on payment, I was made to wait for 40mins after which they came to confirm the order so they could start making it. I was starving after having gone rafting earlier so ended up having ParleG for lunch. They also have an elaborate menu, of which most things aren't available, so don't bother perusing it. - Service: I asked for a bottle of water and it didn't come for 45mins. When I went to check they said they had forgotten about it with no apology. If you need anything you need to hang around at the reception and wait for someone to come, then present your case so they want to help you, then wait for them to maybe help you. - Room: The cottages are spacious and clean. The concrete rooms stink of fungus and stale. They provide one small bottle of water per person. There is no intercom. Hot water isn't 24x7. You have to go to the reception, wait for someone to come there, request them to release hot water, wait for them to release, after waiting 15 minutes go back to reception, ask, wait, and maybe you can shower that day. - Check-out: Someone came to remind me of check-out time at 2.45, but no one was to be found to help with the bags or even provide an umbrella so I carried my own bags in the rain. At the reception when I gave feedback that the food wasn't good the hotel manager said "your feedback is wrong". There is no rebuttal to that haha. And that tells me that things will likely get worse as they exploit their oligopoly in Kolad. -Location: Very green and campus looks beautiful. Very far in from the main road which is a hassle given no one gets network in the area.

Will not recommend it at any cost, location and ambience is Very Good, rooms are spacious neat and clean. Person talked with me at the time of booking was polite and cooprative. Staff was highly hopeless, Service was thirdclass, We ordered dinner well in advance, in afternoon only, but didn't get the same, and reply from staff was you haven't ordered the food, food prepared for other group was provided to us in dinner. Noodles pavbhaji etc.. If you ask water bottle, staff Will stare at you for 10 minutes, after asking repeatedly they will give you water, second day as per schedule, we have to reach rafting point in time, but breakfast was not provided on time it was one hour late,and in name of Gobi Paratha thick rotis were provided. Manager called Sagar is hopeless person, he is not taking care of anything other than taking bills. You ask him anything, he was behaving like some unfortunate thing has happened. I haven't seen smile on anyone's (staff) face. pathetic service and food. Will not recommed it at any cost. Owner must look into the matter.

Huge and well maintained Property with great view. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Buffet Food was also delicious. They do follow a very strict timelines for different meals and only accept cash at counters in this age as well. Lots of restrictions as you can eat only at certain places while drink at other places.

Owner of the hotel is so rude. My booking was confirmed still he denied check in inspite of receiving money from mmt. He asked me and my family (son 3 years old ) to wait for more than 2 and half hrs. He dont have sense how to speak with customers. Didnt give rooms which we had booked and ask us to stay in other rooms.

The place is beautiful. Its very quite and soothing. Nice place to chill with family and friends. However, i have rated average because of 2 things 1. Food - its awful. Its not at all good. The food is so horrible over here. It seemed as if they did not have good cooks. I would recommend carrying food from outside, though there are not many hotels nearby. I tasted almost everything. The chicken was awful, the roti sabzi awful, the breakfast poha, idli was also awful. The dosa was bearable. When i complained about the food they offered me gulab jamun. But even that was not good so i left almost all the food half uneaten 2. The charges are too expensive. I am not just talking about rafting, but the rickshaw cost. Since you have to go at one place where the rafting starts you can go via your own vehicle. But the place where rafting ends is very far. You will have to get a rik to go to the place where you parked your vehicle. And the rickshaw charges 1k or more its a good place to chill. The staff is nice. I wanted to book the wooden. The villa is not made of wooden its made of bricks, they have somehow put the photos of wooden hut in the villa option, so it becomes very confusing. I had to stay in the villa. The villa is filled with big lizards and spiders and its not at all maintained.

Book this place only for the rooms. The food was very bad, one of the worst i've ever had on a trip. I in fact drove 18 kms to find better food as i was tired of the bad food here. Even the staff was uninterested in anything. There are activities on resort but the staff says everything is closed. They were also away for long hours, we had to wait at reception for 30 mins as the person hadn't arrived till 10:30 in the morning.

Excellent for family or with friends. Neat & clean rooms. Nice food. All staffs are really very good & helpfull especially kitchen manager mr. Manoj singh ji.
