"Villa Bascarino is a charming place to stay in Ragusa. It’s an old private residence that has been beautifully converted to comfortable accommodation with a tranquil garden and pool area where we were able to have lunch after our arrival. Our room was spacious with a terrace, the breakfast offered a wide choice and the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. Parking is freely available in front of the Villa or free nearby in the street. We left something valuable behind but a staff member (Aldo) arranged for it to be couriered to our next accommodation which was so very kind of him. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Boscarino"

"A fascinating and highly authentic historical property with a unique atmosphere. The restoration has been done exceptionally well, preserving the character and history of the place. Ideal for guests interested in heritage, tranquility and a more secluded experience, with relatively few visitors. A few points could be mentioned: the pool is not heated, and the noticeable smell of cleaning agents in some areas slightly disturbed the otherwise special ambience. Overall, however, a memorable and very distinctive place to stay."

" Poggio del Sole Hotel Is a hotel of contradiction with impressive and grossly unimpressive features. The hotel is very large considering its remote, rural location. The foyer area is enormous with a large comfortable lounge area. There are numerous large dining areas and you can also eat by the side of the large pool. The pool also has a bar so you can order drinks and snacks. The decor is tasteful with wooden reproductions of a variety of cactus plants including the prickly pear, a noxious **** in Australia but its fruit is used to flavour spirits in Sicily. All sounds very impressive and favourable so far. So how do most people spend most of their time besides sleeping? Browsing the Internet on their phones and iPads. Whilst “free WiFi” signs are common in hotels, cafes etc., it is now a universal expectation. With this in mind, efficient internet connectivity is both mandatory and essential. During our two day stay, WiFi was generally unavailable. To make matters worse, the restaurant menu was only available electronically and there were no paper back up menus. Selecting a food choice from an invisible menu is a challenge. Understandably the restaurant staff seemed to be in a permanent state of stress. The food was very good but a prayer may be needed to get what you ordered. Oh! yes. The rooms are large and have all the expected facilities except for drink making items. Large bed but with 3-stars for comfort. Large bathroom, hot water but wafer thin towels. So lots of pluses, a few minor negatives and the WiFi issue may not be a regular problem (suspect it is), restaurants have atmosphere and reasonable food so just remember to bring a book to read for when your mobile device is inoperative."

"It is a wonderful reconstructed mass, immersed in the countryside of Ragusana, just a few minutes away from the city. We spent a beautiful weekend to show relaxation. The pool is available almost all day and you can even prepare a tea or coffee at any time in a nice room that looks at the bathroom. The large, very clean room with kitchen opens on a small courtyard with tables and chairs, where you can spend the evening in peace. Managers are very kind, always available, careful and as discrete and never invading ... We had the feeling of being almost home. Breakfast is rich, prepared at home with products for all needs and served under a beautiful yellow tree. I can't wait to come back to us!"

Não há microondas. Há apenas UMA cabana para armazenar o alimento.Em suma, a cozinha é pouco usável.Na sala de estar, não há gabinetes.Depois de perguntar, NOS DEU UMA mesa de plástico para colocar no canto, o que FOI o truque. A tigela de secagem para a lavandaria é pequena, não é suficiente para 6 pessoas.A roupa boa seca rapidamente 30C+! Em suma, o Lugar é bonito e as peças caras estão todas lá: apartamento grande, AC, piscinas, parque, só precisa de trabalho e dinheiro para ir para a cama. Agora é entre 3 e 4 começas, mas eu dou 4 para esperar que eles sejam abordados em breve (e-mailei todos estes pontos para o hotel), provavelmente voltaria, mas não tenho certeza."

"We booked to stay two nights but then decided to extend for another two, why? Because at this B&B you feel at home. We had a sea view room and what a view! The place is very clean and comfortable, the swimming pool is beautiful and can relax after a day sightseeing, the garden is well kept and there is a private parking. The breakfast offers local delicious products and some of them home made by Mamma. Alessandro and his brother Giuseppe, the owners, really welcome you with a smile and professionalism and you can see they are very proud of their place and territories. They advice on what to visit (offering a map of the area) and a list of restaurants they recommend and we tried a few without disappointment. We were also really impressed by Marina di Ragusa, a lovely seaside town with everything you need and a perfect base to visit Val di Noto (Ragusa, Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Donnalucata, Punta Secca, Noto, castello di Donnafugata etc). "
