Eastwood Richmonde Hotel

Nice and cozy room during my stay. tho i had some problems with my wifi.

Pros: This hotel is very accessible to Eastwood Mall and City Walk. Receptionist are very fast to answer my phone calls. Check out was a breeze - not sure because I checked out super early in the morning. Cons: Outdated hotel. Needs serious improvement. I arrived at around 1 pm and was told that the room is not ready until 2pm, they said they would call me but no phone calls were made and I was only able to go to my room at past 3pm. Some of the security guards are helpful, some are not. They didn’t even offer to help bring my luggage and stuff to my room which is at the 31st floor. The elevators are very slow and very narrow. The room was dirty and the beddings have stains. Also, the toilet seat has scratches. The blinds in the shower area was stuck and was damped in water. Towels are not soft, no bathrobes, room slippers are not usable. The windows were were very dirty. Sockets are loose. AC control is useless, the buttons are even damaged. The TV has a very low volume for cable channels. I wish other hotels are as prime as its location.

My husband and I checked in from Dec 14-16 and we enjoyed how the location of the hotel was in the heart of the city itself, was walking distance to all the amenities and restaurants within the area. The cleanliness and location of the hotel was perfect, the services as well were great, all of the staff that we spoke to were friendly and accommodating. A comment only on the lifts - sometimes only 1 or 2 working ones out of the 3 were operating and there were moments were the lift would skip our floor and we had to wait approx. 10 minutes to be able to catch one. We found it odd how a lunch/dinner reception was happening right in front of the check in counter blocking the entrance, and we had to enter/exit through the sides, but i guess the other ballrooms were full. The breakfast was good, we loved the yummy food that was served in the mornings. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again thanks to the location, cleanliness and hospitality of the staff, thanks for making our stay seamless!
