Super 8 by Wyndham Quesnel BC

Very nice people running the place but not the cleanest needs new beds, paint and a good carpet cleaning real doggy smell.

Pleasantly surprised! New friendly management, now has breakfast, quiet sleep! My husband and I l decided to take a chance and we were glad we did. The hotel staff was super friendly and happy. Rooms are a bit dated but it we had a quiet restful sleep and they even had a breakfast available which is new for them. Would stay again

If you can stay anywhere else, we strongly recommend that you do. The place was old, many things were broken, and it was not clean. There was blood stains on the top of our blankets, the deadbolt lock on the door was ripped off, and the heating on the wall had an old orange extension cord going through the wall to where, we weren't sure. The bathtub was stained and brown in the bottom. Our TV was broken however we could hear the TV just fine through the wall beside us. We could also hear every word they spoke. When we asked the hotel staff about the broken TV he said, well you are only staying one night so you can make do and walked out the door. He was not interested at all in providing a quality stay. The place was so noisy. You can hear every vehicle that passes by on the busy highway next to the hotel so it was difficult to sleep. We likely would have had a better sleep by simply sleeping in our car.

We’ve stayed here before , it is clean and comfortable, allows pets. Great rates which includes breakfast.

Booked for a room for 5 people on *******, when we got to the hotel the staff on duty said they only do 4 people per room. We had to purchase a second room after we already had a room booked for 5.

When I travel… I choose Supper 8.. So far… im never disappointed.

Only decent think was the beds were comfortable. This place needs a renovation and updated furnishings.

We arrived on August 5th at 10:00 p.m. to check in. I had made a reservation through Super Travel. The manager or owner indicated that Wyndham tried to make him work with Super Travel, but he only liked to work with *********** and **********. He was clearly reading the details of my reservation off of his computer screen while claiming not to have it . He said that he wouldn't make enough money off of it so he would not honor my reservation. At first he was going to allow us to pay for a room even though my reservation was prepaid. He said I would just have to pay an extra $20 for my dog. I agreed but shortly thereafter he started yelling and swearing in a very angry and erratic manner regarding Super Travel and him wanting to control his own motel. It was a very frightening experience and we ended up without a motel room, on the August long weekend, 800 km from home. It was a truly terrible experience! Do yourself a huge favor and do not book the Super 8 by Wyndham when you are in Quesnel.
