We met lots of interesting people (although I think we skewed the average age of guests by about 10 years). The rooms were nice, beds comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. "Tulemar is somewhere that needs to stay as special as it is, and is thus almost too good to share, but I know this benefits Tulemar, so I am writing it anyway! This was one of the best holidays of my life, and I have travelled! The balance of wildlife, excellent service, high-quality accommodation, gorgeous swimming pools, a beautiful beach and walkable dining options is simply perfect. We booked for 7 nights and reshuffled our plans so we could stay 2 more. I'm not a fan of going to the same place more than once, but can say with my hand on my heart we will 100% be back, and we travelled 23 hours to get there! Thank you to the wonderful staff at Tulermar, especially Jean-Carlo for his kindness and patience, and Isaac the golf cart driver who always put a smile on our face and gave us one of our Costa Rica highlights when he showed us a baby sloth. Please book the Sloth Tour when you are there! Seeing this gorgeous creatures without the tour is quite tricky, but once you've done the tour you know where to look. All the money goes to the Sloth Institute, a non-profit organisation doing amazing things to help improve the lives of these gentle, gorgeous animals. What a place! It will stay in our hearts forever. Thank you for the beautiful memories our family made together. Pura Vida! Claire, Philipp & Harvey."

"The room was at the 4th floor of the highest building and the view was very beautiful both on the National Park and the ocean. The entrance to the park is 4 minutes walking distance, so excellent location. A walk can reach the beach in about 8 minutes and a area with bars and restaurants. Breakfast is good even if equal in the two days we stayed. There is always a service of helping baggage transportation through golf cars given the important vertical movements compared to parking and buildings. There was one problem: After the first 20 minutes in the pool, the white shirts used to avoid putting creams and protect themselves from sunshine were yellow. I reported the problem at the reception, and the result was that the next day a company came to clean both swimming pools several times. I believe that the problem is structural and that some users' reporting is not enough to solve the problem because water does not move as if the cleaning plant was insufficient."

We enjoyed the location where you can overlook the sunset sinking in the sea, the hotel-only beach, and the restaurant where you can enjoy surrounded by nature. I thought that it was troublesome to walk to the facilities such as the pool because of the location, and the ants came into the room, but it is also a range to enjoy."
