"This was our 5th year staying at these cottages with a large group. There are 14 families who always look forward to this vacation. Unfortunately, this will be our last year. One of our friends happened to be on her period and bled onto the sheets. She went to the desk, apologized and asked for new sheets. On the last day her credit card was charged $500 for damages. Keep in mind their “towel and bed sheets” policy on their website is only $100 if the stain can’t be removed. Not only did Jennifer charge her card, she proceeded to shame and embarrass her at the front desk. She claimed she didn’t understand how my friend could allow something like this to happen? There have also been multiple occasions of credit cards being charged without authorization. We have brushed this off as we have enjoyed our vacations, but reading other reviews it seems that this is common practice here. 0/10 recommend you book here."

"What a delightful Inn to spend a week in PEI. It was so cozy and clean and lovely. Andrea, who cooked breakfast also provided a litany of island stories to keep you both entertained and informed. Prince Edward Island is so lovely, the people are warm and friendly just like this wonderful Inn."

"5/5 - one of the best “value” stays I’ve ever had. Genuinely an amazing stay with barely anything the fault. The washroom and bedroom felt modern and very clean. If I have to fault, the shower water shower was a little weak. But, the hair dryer was fantastic and super strong, not like the other hotel ones. Service was great and good selections when it comes to breakfast. Location was decent, about 15 mins drive to downtown. I really enjoyed my stay here! Would 200% recommend this place, fantastic!"

Blue Crest Cottages

"Stuck in the 1980s. Housekeeping cottage and you clean before you leave which is normal but I wonder if the cottage is ever professionally deep cleaned? Needs serious updating- caulk in bathroom is gross. Needs basic linens- like a bath mat. Hair dryer did not work and obviously dirty. Mattresses are extremely old , so are the linens which leaves me suspicious. No instructions to tv. I’ve stayed in better at the same price point so that’s sad. Kitchen has everything you need. It’s a great location with a grocery store a mile away. Excellent location and the cottages sit in a huge piece of land that is pretty. Family friendly for sure! Very friendly staff but a bit of a language barrier. "

"Nice kitchen, dining area, and view in the 5 bedroom cottage. Close to the pool and office. Beware of a language barrier. We asked for a change of towels and it took a good 5 minutes for them to understand. If you’re looking for accessible, find another cottage. When we went, the hosts were made aware of accessibility issues and we were told “we have a ramp and a new shower on the main floor.” The ramp is not accessible. There is a good 6 inch drop at the end of it and only one side has a railing (wobbly, but it’s there). The shower did not have any grab bars. If you have no mobility issues, great place to stay. Otherwise, I’d suggest going somewhere else. (Also, it seemed like they’re in the midst of renovations with this cottage - one room had no lights in the sockets and there are so many outlets everywhere.)"
