Royal Dalhousie

The pictures don't do this lovely building justice. We stayed in 302 - a three-bedroom condo on the top floor. Wow. Just wow. The beautiful arched windows gave a spectacular frame to a lovely river view. The condo was appointed perfectly. We had five adults. Spacious, each had privacy and alone space, table is perfect for games at night. Couches super comfy, beds great. We did laundry a few times. We were greeted by the owner's brother (owner lives in building) and communication was prompt, easy and so appreciated. There is a parking lot for the building next to the building if you bring a car. Within walking to everything in the old city, lots of restaurants and attractions. We were there in winter, so didn't use the terrace deck, but it would be amazing in the summer! This was a GEM!

We are 2 couples that travel together a lot, and I have to say that Royal Dalhousie was the most fabulous apar**ent. We stayed in the Frontenac suite. It is so spacious and beautiful. Each bedroom was separated by a very large living area. Thr beams and brick walls are very pretty. We loved the location, just steps from many shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed staying in and watching the ferries and barges going up and down the river. Liliane brought in a live Chris**as tree with lights for us to enjoy. This is the best I can't say enough good things!!

It was one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband, recently spent 5 nights in this beautiful apar**ent. Spotlessly clean . It is within walking distance of everything ( of course, the funicular helps with saving some steps ). We didn't use the well stocked kitchen because there are so many great restaurants, but it was nice for coffee in the morning and refreshments in the evening. The washer and dryer were a plus because you can pack lighter. Lastly, Liliane and Pierre were the BEST hosts.

We loved our stay at the Royal Dalhousie in the Corriveau apar**ent. We had no idea Quebec was such a large cruise ship port. We watched these massive ships come in and dock right in front of our building through the large windows in our living room. The Corriveau is very spacious. Note that the 3 bedrooms are not of equal size. Two bedrooms are ensuite. One facing the river, the other 2 bedrooms face the back empty lot. The 3rd bedroom is not ensuite and is much smaller. However, there is a 3rd bathroom/laundry room which can be used. Parking is plentiful. We had hoped to used the kitchen for breakfasts/ happy hour food, etc. There is no decent grocery nearby so you'll need to figure out how to get supplies if you don't come with a car. We loved the location and walked everywhere all over the city. As the Royal Dalhousie is in the lower town be prepared for many steep steps as you wind upwards toward the upper town/ Chateau Frontenac, etc. You need to be able bodied. Access to the rooftop terrace was great fun on pretty days. Apar**ent was clean but some of the furnishings are rather tired. Would definitely return.

The Chinic condo was so large and beautiful with wonderful views of the St. Lawrence River. We stayed here to meet my parents as they got off a cruise ship - it was the perfect location, right across from the port. Liliane and Pierre were great hosts always happy to answer any questions we had. The location in Old Quebec near petit Champlain could not have been more convenient for shopping or great dining either.

The Royal Dalhousie condos-suites is located only a few minutes walk from the dining, museums, galleries and historic sites of Quebec City. We (6 adults and a 1 yr old) stayed in the Corriveau room for 5 nights in Feb, 2023. We came for Winter Carnival, but found that there was more to do all around us. And the layout of the suite allowed us to spend maximum time together and still have our privacy when desired. The view out of the floor to ceiling windows and the east end of the living room was spectacular — we watched ice flowing in and out with the tides, ocean-going ships and ferries, tug boats and coast guard vessels. Endlessly entertaining! The building is very well maintained and bedrooms, baths and the kitchen were immaculate when we arrived. The common room was bright and open and allowed plenty of room for the toddler to play. Liliane provided us with a high chair and a Pack and Play which worked perfectly for our needs. We loved staying at the Royal Dalhousie and would return in a heartbeat.

Very good location, comfortable apar**ent and well equipped kitchen.
