Old shabby hotel catering to visiting local tourists, mainly. If you're a foreigner, the drivers of the cabs waiting outside the Hotel will rip you off 20-30 yuan unless you pay attention to the meter and immediately yell at them in case of overcharge. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.

Hotel is very nice, very clean, position is perfect for people who coming in Qingdao because is close to almost all tourist spots, bar streets… We only have one small problem, last day no hot water in bathroom. Hotel staff immediately offered new room, but we checked few room and also no hot water. They was very nice, kindly apologized and gave us some small gifts. So it is very nice and cozy hotel and I will go there for sure again.

Nice location near Qindao Train station and in the pedestrian street. 5 minutes walk to the sea promenade. The hotel is oldish but has a nice soul. Shower could need some carefull look and get maintenance. But in all it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is located close to Zhongshan Road, close to Pichai Courtyard, Qingdao Railway Station, and churches. There are also many places to eat nearby. The room facilities are okay, but the space is a bit smaller. Others are ok. The service attitude is very good. We set the standard There is a 1 meter, a bigger bed, suitable for living with children. There is a charge for the parking lot near the entrance of the hotel, which is RMB 2 and a half hour, with a cap of RMB 20.

I stayed here 5 years ago and it is just as good now as it was then. The decoration of the rooms is simple, but clean and with a cool vibe. The rest of the hotel has great character, with sitting areas at the end of each floor. The lounge and restaurant is huge and inviting. All the staff are very polite and friendly. Of course, the breakfast is fantastic with several choices of freshly prepared meals (American, British, omelette, or French toast). The hotel is well located close to most of the sites tourists would want to see and also convenient to a subway station. I don’t often write reviews but this is the type of place that feels special and becomes a positive part of your trip.

The location is very convenient, the bus station and subway station are downstairs. Very close to the trestle bridge and Daxue Road. The room was clean and tidy, and the service staff were very polite and welcoming. The little red beauty at the front desk was very thoughtful. The rooftop view on the 12th floor is quite good, overlooking the church and the old town, and the sea view in the distance. Recommended.

Amazingly a nice place. Old fashion design but so modern inside. So warm hearted front desk lady, and sweet, and lovely, and you name whatever. This place is right on the walking street, and you can listen to the classic music casting somewhere from the street. This is also so close to many dining spots, and they are typical local and tasty. This place is not with a luxury facade but really worth for it's inside value. All the controls are fashion: lights, fans, curtains, etc. It brings you a feeling that you are back in the old school Tsingtao living in a German style building but meanwhile sleeping in the cozy modern life realistically. I'd like to come here the next time, especially in a summer time.

這次帶孩子去青島，住的地方選在了青島站附近，晚上下了火車不到十分鐘就到了金海大酒店。辦理住宿時還免費升級了房間，還送了水果，牛奶，牛奶還是熱好了的，服務細緻體貼。房間乾淨整潔。走的那天是下午四點火車，打電話到前台詢問退房，前台小宋表示可以申請延遲退房到下午三點半，問題完美解決。退房後前台小張還送了禮物，有吃的有水，還有嶗山茶葉。愉快出行，就選金海。

I chose this B&B after several days of research and stayed there for four consecutive nights. Overall it was very nice. advantage: 1. Overall it is very clean and the layout is very warm. 2. My son and I travelled through some cities in China. We stayed mainly in budget hotels. This hotel was in a reasonable location. The hall carpet was dirty and once you are past reception you notice the hotel has seen better days. The room smelt of smoke, which i personally hate. The sheets were clean and the room was warm.

The landlord is very caring and has tips along the way. At first glance, you can see the sea view at night, and the spark is a little beautiful. From time to time, I don't know if the water heater or the smart toilet will suddenly be heated. A small compartment in the door is a shoe stool and a kitchenette. You can cook seafood yourself. The living room and bedroom are integrated. It is embarrassing that the toilet and bathroom are connected to the bedroom. There is no door or curtain. There is a bathtub, a smart toilet, and a shower room. However, the shower room is small due to the size and the activity is severely limited. There is a small outdoor balcony outside, and the roof of the old bungalow is outside. There are also hangers in the house.
