Hotel is clean , staff are ok, food is not bad (not very good either) and the parties on the roof top are fun.
Hotel asks Egyptian residents to pay an additional fees on
arrival which was kind of bargain and unacceptable

This has been my third stay at Il Mercato and I am already planning my return in a few months. The hotel is incredible, the service is amazing and the staff are indescribable, so attentive and caring. I never want to leave. This place has changed my life

5 stars is a joke. Only the lobby in the hotel has been renovated. The rest hadn't seen a brush or paint for many years. The cuisine is monotonous and has a small selection of dishes. The hotel is located very far from the beach and about 20 minutes from the Old Market. The only plus is that it is clean.

This was the best trip I’ve been on. Very warm, welcoming and funny Staff that made me feel safe and welcome. A big shout out to Mahmoud who went above and beyond to make my stay the best especially when I was poorly. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

We had two lovely weeks at this hotel. There are four pools, two of which are on the roof. One for activities and the other adult only, which we used for relaxing. We did a few excursions with mido which were very good and reasonably priced. We had several massages and I would higly recvomend Jasmine. Anna was very attentive and was always making sure everything was ok so thankyou Anna. The food was good and the restaurant staff always very helpful with a smile on their face. There was entertainment on the roof nightly which was good, the animation team did a good job too. The reception staff always helpful. We used the hotel taxi service instead of the ones outside as we felt it was safer. Abdo gave an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble. Our housekeeper kept our room clean and tidy, leaving various animal shapes with the towels. He made sure we had everything we needed. What really made our holiday were Mahmoud on the reception bar, Atef on the roof bar and Mustafa on the beach bar and roof bar. They are all so nice and friendly and made sure we had all we needed. I got bitten badly by mosquitoes and they gave me ice in bags to relieve the itching. We had good laughs and banter with them and will miss these lads lots. We hope to come back soon Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The hotel was absolutely amazing!!! No improvements needed I loved everything about it genuinely the best trip ever!! I loved it and it was the best time, I had multiple massages and went out to ride camel, scuba diving, parasailing and glass bottom boat

i would like to thank all hotel staff about my holiday specially mahmoud saied mostafa attef, we have an amazing holiday food is great, room is perfect size and view, and and animation team was very nice , different show every night, and always activity in the pool , in the morning, and i would like to thank all manger as always On my way! ask to make sure everything is ok, for sure we will be back soon ,and i recommend this hotel to everyone. couples and family too thanks everyone agin ❤️

The hotel staff were very friendly and caring, especially the room attendant Ramadan who always made sure that everything was fine with you.The evening entertainment was great fun too. Everything you needed was there. Would definitely think about going back
