We were really guided by a very high rating of the property expecting great authenticity and traditional Arab hospitality along with a reasonable level of comfort. Well, it wasn’t the case. I got to say the family owners are friendly indeed and seems like are trying their best but… rooms have the furniture I’ve last seen about 30 years ago, bedsheets weren’t clean (mostly time driven decoloration), bathroom had just one brick of soap and a beach style towels were provided. AC wouldn’t switch on, the fan would make noises like it’s going to fall down (so got to sleep in the heat), I couldn’t force myself to step in the shower (I really needed one though). WiFi wasn’t working either. I was hoping breakfast would make it yet it was the furthest from a traditional breakfast- few boiled eggs, cheese that have seen its better days and a plain yogurt. along with a Nescafé packeted coffee. If I’d be choosing a 2* motel in Europe it would perfectly match my expectations, when I’m paying 100+ USD for a boutique hotel - that’s not what one should get. We had to cut our stay short, paid cash for 1 night and the owner has deleted our reservation on booking so we can’t write a review there
