The hotel is centrally located, about 900 metres from the beach. My room is facing the street, so it is noisy and some affects the rest. In fact, it will not be quiet without facing the street. The room was clean and the sheets were a bit old. The morning buffet is good and there are not many people. There are two points to note that the hotel cannot use international credit cards, so if foreigners spend at the hotel, they can only pay cash at checkout. Second, the check-out time required by the hotel is 8:00 in the morning. If you need to extend the check-out, you will have to pay. It is not expensive, tens of yuan per hour, 8 o'clock check out is a common practice in the local area. In short, in Puri, the requirements for the hotel are not too high, and the hotel in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, will not work. This hotel is okay.

We visited Puri during Karthik to visit Jagannath temple and staying in sterling made our experience extremely beautiful and heartwarming. Staff were friendly, welcoming and went above our expectations all the time. Parteek and his team was really helpful. The view from resort and sea beach view during sunrise and sunset was calming. There was a staff at the beach to keep chairs and umbrellas. Don’t forget to opt for breakfast when you book your stay. It’s one of the best breakfast buffet I have had. We booked our hotel at Puri on MakeMyTrip online. Our room was a Family Suite Four-Bed room on the first floor, which is accessible by lift. The first appearance of the room was clean and spacious, having an aesthetic appeal. The furniture, although old, was well maintained and free from any bugs. Hotel Pushpa is within walking distance from the sea beach, and many good Bengali restaurants are nearby. The TV, AC, geyser, and mini fridge in our room were all in working condition. Although the room has two windows, it was difficult to open them. As such, the room is not well ventilated; you need to keep the AC on to avoid suffocation. The washroom was decent, but need to be careful when working with soap and water on the slippery tiles fitted in the bathroom. The entire stay was without any external disturbances. The puja panda in the hotel is very helpful, and his service was beyond my expectations. The driver provided for our tour package was very friendly, and he made all adjustments to suit our customized requirements. The behavior of the hotel staff was friendly and professional, and they attended to all our requests without any delay. Overall, a pleasant stay at Hotel Pushpa, Puri, and a recommended family hotel in Puri.

Hotel Samudro is situated just behind the blue beach. I was at the hotel from 2-Sep till 5-Sep. Booked the sea facing rooms. Excellent view from the room with the blue beach and overlooking the sea and sands.. You can literally enjoy the sea from the room and the balcony. Very hospitable and courteous staff. They made sure we got everything we asked for, glasses, cups, plates, cleaning at request. The food is great and freshly made. Tastes great, good portion sizes and value for money. The complimentary breakfast menu is sumptuous and tatses great. Overall an excellent experience and I would surely love to come back to Hotel Somudro for the view from rooms, excellent staff services and great food!! Thank you.
