Tive problemas com o check-in, fiquei esperando 1 hora a mais do que o combinado e ainda me deram o quarto errado, contratei um quarto e me deram outro e não quiseram alterar.

I had an amazing experience at ambar. The only issue I had was that we had to be pick up at the aquamarine side, they didnt allow our private driver inside of the resort and then we had to be 30 minutes delayed to the airport. Overall the experience at ambar was amazing i give 10/10

This property was filthy, the worst example was the Hibachi restaurant. Bring your bug spray! Room service didn't show up 2 out of 6 days. Check-in was not at all welcoming or informative. At check-out, they didn't ask or care how the stay was. Getting transportation was awful, there is no communication from Ambar to the resort where you pick up transportation. Shopping area was nice but it is made up exclusively of local vendors that you have to bargain with. The ****** was empty except for workers. The entertainment they advertise is an additional $50USD per person. MEAT was the only restaurant that was excellent. I am comparing this to the 7 other resorts we have stayed at in Punta Cana and it is by far the most unfriendly, dirty and disorganized resort. It was a major disappointment.

We had a corner swim out, it was very private. Unfortunately the temperature of the water was so cold we were not able to use it. That is a very important feature for us. The staff was great, the resort was spotless, restaurants were good but we will not be returning. The water in the swim out was cold, we were in a room that did not get a great deal of sun. We were at the same resort, we will not be returning

The property was just average. I did not appreciate that there was no elevator to reach guest rooms, no heated jacuzzi in the pool area and smoking throughout the property. Other than at Limbo where the food and drinks were great, the food was just average. We also had to pay to use the pool table in the bar. You had to convert coins, but you had to buy more coins than it actually cost for a game. At an all-inclusive, I would not expect to pay to play pool. That's kind of cheap/tacky.
On the positive side, the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room key was incorporated into your wrist band to ensure you never leave it behind. They also do not put a hold on your credit card when you check in.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Property was clean. It's a smaller hotel, but you have access to neighboring Bahia properties as well. Not much nightlife but great for a relaxing couples vacation.

We enjoyed our stay, which was our first visit to this resort. We have been to another all inclusive in Jamaica as a point of reference. The food was decent without being spectacular. It was plentiful and varied. The drinks, for the most part were inconsistent, slightly weak, but not bad. We loved the bar at Linbo and the beach bar (William). The resort was clean in the staff overall were quite friendly. We wished there was actually a heated hot tub instead of just bubbling sections in the main pool, which was a little bit cold for our taste, the grounds were immaculate and they were mini staff dedicated to maintenance which was nice to see. Food service was a little bit spotty and slow with the exception of Meat, which was our favorite restaurant particularly because of one server (Joneiry) and the manager. This young man knew how to hustle and enjoyed his work, as evidenced by his personality, smile and genuine attention. He stood out above every other waiter over our 6 days. Most staff were good and decent. There were a couple that didn’t seem to enjoy their job but that’s probably true everywhere. Overall we were impressed and happy with our stay. Hence the four stars my opinion is that this is not a five star resort when it comes to food quality though we enjoyed the swim up room for an afternoon cool off swim, I think we would be happy to go back, although we may continue to look for a slightly elevated experience. Overall, we found the value good for what we spent.

Property was amazing. Pool was very big and the swim up bar was great. Pool was connected to the beach which was very convenient, buffets were surprisingly very tasty and had wide variety of options. The restaurants were above what we expected, very good. Staff at the Bahia are second to none, very helpful and really care. Would stay again.
