The food was all buffet and not very good. The plumbing needs work. Our shower ran out of water while I still had shampoo in my hair. At least they gave us a new room that was closer to the beach. The property is so big, there was a lot of walking.

Very friendly staff and excellent customer service I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Punta Cana, one of the best resorts for adults only with parties, amazing food and drinks.

A Great party resort , riu republic is more for the younger people so expect a lot of happy teens . Good entertainment in the hotel . Great staff and probably the best massage spa ever .

Dirty rooms with moldy smell, very uncomfortable beds and by far the worst resort food you can have. Service was also sub par for the price you pay.

Close to the beach and easy access to pool and activities. Food was challenging. Cold food was warm and hot food was cold

We love this portion of the beach... always seems to be free of sea**** unlike other areas.
What we didn't like, originally they tried to give us the worst room on the property, a second floor room above an extended first floor roof top, could see nothing but roof, not what you want to see when going to a tropical destination. They did however move us to another room without issue, when we requested a different room.

Room service is awful, told the lady to get me new bed sheets and blankets towels because they all stink and all I heard was ok even though I left a tip everytime, room keys always break even if I don’t put behind my phone, never going back there

Room had electrical appliance issues outlets were inoperable… dirty blankets ..lack of towels for the beach pools and rooms ..small pillows not enough pillows in the room..staff was very attentative and the energy of the entertainers were outstanding great pools beaches clean dining decent food big resort plenty fun entertainment and things to do
