Location was good and views from hotel was also nice Staff was helpful

We stayed four nights and we were still wishing we could stay longer when we checked out. This place is gorgeous. The rooms, the bar/lounge, breakfast area and even the entry area are all exquisite. Rooms are huge. Our second floor room had a sunny large window seat perfect for relaxing with a book and/or drink. Breakfast included eggs (the omelette!!), yogurt, cheese, meat, fruit, and more. Every staff member was courteous and professional. We were treated so well through our stay! We had had difficulty finding a way to do the Fauna Trek but (special thanks here) Scarlett found us a guide who drove us and accompanied us (hike can only be done with a guide) for a very reasonable price. We recommend you stay at the hotel and include this hike. Then, spend a relaxing evening in the lounge! Finally, we enjoyed hearing about how Erkka and David brought this place to life. It’s an amazing story. Treat yourself to this place!

To call this a ”hotel” or even a ”resort” would minimize the experience that was our week at The Singular. It definitely shattered any expectations we had for our stay there. First of all, the property itself is nothing short of breathtaking: situated on a melted glacier, the hotel has a colorful and important history as a factory and more, and the architects kept much of the original equipment/design/general vibe alive. See some pictures, below, but we don't want to give away too much! The staff is unbelievably solicitous: many are bi or multi lingual, and they couldn't help us enough. Our waitstaff remembered our names, preferences, and were enthusiastic about sharing their world views when we engaged them in conversation. We remarked how impressed we were one night ,at how ”choreographed” the servers were when bringing drinks and food to the tables, especially large groups, and our hostess Daniela smiled in acknowledgement, adding ”Yes! I call that the ”Dance of the Waiters!” The food was fresh and delicious, offering vegetarian entrees as well as amazing local seafood and meat. The duck was divine, surrounded by a billowy cloud of spiced sweet potatoes; and the lamb , offered in three different cuts with a variety of sauces, was nothing like we have ever had at home. Desserts, when we had them, (we tried not to eat them too often!!) were, scrumptious. But the produce!! I ate cherry tomatoes one night in a salad--and I dont even like tomatoes. They were NOTHING like produce that sells in a supermarket. Our terrific server that night commented that this was all so fresh that it might have been in the field that very day! The rooms were minimal in art because each room provides its own gallery: the view outdoors. Sunsets changed nightly, and the colors in the sky defied description. The beds were comfortable and supportive, and one night, after a day of trekking in Torres Del Paine, my husband's neck was sore, the concierge Kelly was quick to provide more firm pillows for relief. (Thanks Kelly!) The spa provides massage services at a very reasonable price, and the ”complete experience” guest receives use of the sauna and steam showers included.(We also received three daily meals and our excursions. This is an unbeatable deal!) Finally, the excursions: the hotel is NOT in the Torres del Paine park; if you are a dyed in the wool trekker/camper/living in the rough traveler, this place is NOT for you. But the guides to Torres del Paine and our boat tour through the glaciers to the Bernardo O'Higgins National Preserve , with our delicious and informational final stop at the Ultima Esperanza Estancia , were lively and informative--fun to be with and very intelligent as well. I have to start off by saying that we still had an amazing experience overall but I definitely have a few things to suggest from our experience. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon namely because we were really looking for a hotel with a spa and Rio Serrano was one of the only larger hotels that had that experience in Torres del Paine. We were coming from Punta arenas so it was a pretty far drive, about four hours. When I booked through Expedia I initially got in contact with their reservation team because I wanted to ensure we could book the right room with the correct view, the spa treatments, and any excursions since I know things are in demand in that area. The representative was very helpful and nice and she answered all of my questions which was greatly appreciated since we were trying to book in Chile without being able to call etc. A few days before our arrival at the hotel I was charged for a few things on my card we had a couple confusion‘s because of the back-and-forth via email which they resolved for me quickly and were super helpful! However I was a little disappointed because I had clarified what room view we wanted via email and then when we arrived I found out that that room was never booked and we ended up looking at the back of the hotel which is in a beautiful area but it’s just a bummer to not get that beautiful view. I also had started the conversation by telling the reservation agent that it was for a honeymoon and not to expect too much but when you pay for an all inclusive package you kind of expect at least a like happy honeymoon or some thing in your room when you arrive as this is common experience I’ve had from other hotels far less expensive. Transport was also extremely pricey for all locations which I understand because it’s remote but our transport from Punta arenas to the hotel with the hotels transport was nearly US$400. Which was more than a plane ticket from Santiago all the way to Punta arenas. Like I said we also booked the all inclusive package which was great because we made sure to get our use out of it, but we felt that our room was not up to par for the cost of the package per night at nearly US$700. The room had no artwork on the walls the bathroom was subpar and just the quality of the room while clean, was just nothing extravagant for that price. A little more fluff would go a long way, especially for the rooms that have the most boring view in the hotel. They also have no TVs in the rooms which is not a huge deal since most people are not going there to watch TV, but when it’s rainy and there’s not really anything else to do other than go to the spa or pool it would be nice to have a TV in your room. We booked two excursions both the Base Torres and the glacier boat tour both were amazing and our tour guides were stellar for our hiking excursion. we have nothing but amazing things to say about that entire experience! Hotel Las Torres and their entire property is privately owned, yet inside Torres del Paine National Park. I chose the all-inclusive program, so started out with a shuttle transfer from Punta Arenas. About 45min south of Puerto Natales, we stop for lunch at Cerro Negro Ranch where we toured the family's historical home as well as the barn where sheep sheering and baling are performed. Great way to break up the 4.5-5hr drive to Las Torres. Just after checking in, we hit the Excursion desk to select activities for next two days. The first was guided hike up Cerro Paine to view the towers, and the second was a full day tour of the park all the way to Grey Glacier if opting for the boat ride. The all-inclusive dinner wasn't available in the dining hall, so we ate in the Pioneer Cafe at no charge. Not an issue for me, as I don't like to dine past 7pm, nor heavily at that meal anyway. Food was excellent there as well as the dining hall for breakfast. The view from Pioneer puts the massive mountain just south of the towers in full frontal aspect. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. No seating in-room, but didn't miss it. There are seating areas where coffee/tea is available self-serve all day in the room buildings. If you're not a hardcore trekker (opting for tents, cabins or hostel) and appreciate creature comforts, stay in this marvelous hotel while taking in the sights of this spectacular place!
