Apartamentos Aloe

First time in Puerto Del Carmen, the first time in Lanzarote overall. We booked Aloe apartments and were not disappointed at all. We stayed for 2 weeks Located about 10 mins stroll from the main ***** (5 if you are on a quick march). Our accommodation was clean, fresh, and served all of our needs. Complete with a fridge, kettle, cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery as well as a toaster and microwave. Cleaners attend to the room every 2 days to replace towels and bedding as well as a general clean. All rooms and the pool area have free WiFi that is very good and the TVs have a good selection of apps to watch Netflix/YouTube etc for those rare evenings in. All rooms have outside space/balconies. There is no air con, but having windows and doors open when in the apartment brings enough of a cooling breeze (due to the Lanzarote wind) where it makes it comfortable on those baking hot days. The rooms also have safes but I left money and bits out that never got touched anyway and didn't need the safe, the staff are very trustworthy. On site facilities are simple but inviting and clean, reception which is open daily but closes at 3pm but then is remotely monitored by staff in cases of assistance. Pool and a dip pool/children's play pool. Sun loungers aplenty but only 3 or 4 parasols (which is my only little ******) outside toilets and showers as well as storage and shower area for those leaving after checkout waiting for their return home as we did. Aloe apartments is probably best for couples or very small groups who want a quiet and relaxing holiday. It's not really built for entertaining children. There is a noise curfew after 9pm, which makes complete sense as that is the whole point of being at a quiet complex. It can cater for people with poor mobility/mobility scooters also as it is all very flat on the complex. All on all it is a very high 1 star rated property and I've stayed in 4 star properties that are only rated because of on site entertainment, bars and food but miss the basics. Aloe apartments gets the basics absolutely right! so for a bargain holiday for those who simply wish to relax, read, listen to soft music and have a couple of drinks in the day followed by comfortable and clean lodgings in the evenings (either a night in or out) then this place is for you. As a side note (nothing to do with Aloe apartments) the local spar shop is approximately 500 yards away, with a hypermarket about 300 yards down the street after that, for all amenities....however be warned, the prices at these places can really rack up if you are relying on them for food and other bits. A useful tip would be to get a taxi to the local lidl for about €4 and fill up on what you need there and a €4 taxi back. Trust me it will save you a bundle in the week. I know spar is convenience but the prices can be daylight robbery. For example €15 for suncream there would cost €5 at lidl!!! Apart from that, Aloe apartments suited our needs well and we will hap

We will most definitely be returning to Aloe Apartments. These apartments are spotlessly clean with everything you need for self catering. These are set further back than we have stayed before but we really enjoyed staying in a slightly quieter area. Its about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The pool was clean and always looked inviting day & night. We loved our little courtyard for pre dinner drinks before we heading out for the evening. Shower was powerful and beds were comfy. Supermarket is about 5 min walk away. TV had kiss fm and hits radio. Thanks Aloe, see you again soon! Xx

We are really enjoying our stay at the Aloe apartments. They are in good location a short walk to the main street and beach. The apartments are very clean and the staff very helpful, especially Antonio on reception who helped us with information and queries which was much appreciated.

I stayed here in November 2023 on my own as a female solo traveller as my husband couldn't get the time off. I was visiting the island to meet my friends as I used to work and live in Lanzarote and yet didn't know these apartments existed! This was just a perfect stay for me. The apartments are very peaceful with well maintained and exceptionally clean gardens and public areas. The staff were so friendly and very helpful, especially Antonio, whom I dealt with on a regular basis (especially trying to help each other with our Spanish and English). Nothing was ever too much. I had a first floor apartment which was perfect for me as I like to sit on the balcony and just reminisce with a book or with a nice glass of cava. The pool was very clean and while I was there glass screens were being put up around the area to give that extra bit of privacy in the public areas. The other plus was everyone was respectful of each other and there was no reservations for sun beds with towels that you often find elsewhere and I hope that will continue. The apartment was exceptionally clean with all the utensils and cooking accessories you need including a toaster and microwave. The beds were comfortable and there was sufficient storage for your clothes etc. The maids cleaned to a high standard every 2 days, although towels are only changed once a week but that was no problem at all as at home I don't expect my towels to be changed every day! The apartments are in a quiet residential area with a mini supermarket only a 5 minute walk away. If you want something a little bigger there is a Hiperdino Express just a little further on. You are only a 10 minute walk to the bustling sea front with bars, cafes, shops, restaurants and various types of entertainment. All in all it was an idyllic winter break for me to catch up with my friends in a relaxing environment when I wasn't meeting up with them. I have already booked to return to the apartments with my husband in September and I cannot wait. I am hoping to be in the same apartment as it was perfect! Pleasant stay but wouldn’t return. The grounds were spotless, the pool not so much, lots of bird dropping that we’re never cleaned. It was quiet as the other reviews state and the apartments are dated but clean on arrival. Disappointed that the room was cleaned just once - towels changed just once in a weeks stay.

A perfect stay, peaceful, tranquil + very clean, friendly helpful staff We had a ground floor apartment + overlooked the gleaming pool, where I enjoyed swimming daily..maids cleaned to a high standard every 2 days + there was nothing we needed. Beds were comfortable, we slept well + it was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the bustling sea front with bars, cafes, shops + restaurants + entertainment.. We also had 7 days of blue skies + high temperatures + it was an idyllic winter break + hope to return next year

Lovely very quite clean apartment a little walk up the hill but taxi only 3.50 so quite lovely pool area great if you want a quite relaxing holiday definately would stay here again stopped 2 weeks no complaints

Went to these apartments at the beginning of october, loved it. Apartment was right outside the front door, staff lovely, place very clean nothing was never to much trouble.very nice and chilled , lovely place to just chill and relax.The highlight of the hoilday complex was the pool.
