Hotel Floresta

Last visit was 2016 until this one. Really enjoyed it. Food was lovely, plenty of sun beds so no stupid rush. Pool heated, excellent all round holiday. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The hotel grounds are extremely clean and well maintained. Entertainment in the evening was ok

Had a wonderful time food not too bad but could do with proper sausages and better selection of evening sweets and cheese and crackers but already booked for next year would love the same apartment again 1412 in quieter area always being cleaned and kept in tidy and staff very helpful

First time staying at Floresta, and I have already booked again for 2025. Me and my husband and I regularly visit matagotda, purto fel Carmen, Lanzarote, My husband wanted to try Floresta, so we gave it a go. On arrival, as we had an early flight, our room was not ready. However, the receptionist was very helpful. She advised that we could attend the bar, snack bar, and lunch, fitted our AI bands, and helped us to secure our luggage in the luggage room. Check-in is not until 3 p.m., and check out is 12. They don't seem to allow you to keep your room on. Our room was ready for 2.30 pm, and the lovely lady at reception allowed us to check in early. We were in room 1404 by the quiet pool over the other side of the complex. The room was beautiful. Very spacious. Large living room, with sofa that was also a bed. TV, kitchen area with kettle, coffee machine, crockery, cutlery, oven, hob, and table and chairs. Lovley bedroom, with lots of storage space. The bed was so comfy. Lovely bathroom with bath and shower, and a large balcony with outdoor table and chairs and a clothes maiden. There was air conditioning in the living room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Both worked a treat during the hot nights. We stayed AI. The food was good, plenty to choose from. Good selection of drinks. They have a snack bar during the day. You can order food at the bar, and it is made fresh. There isn't a huge menu, but enough for a snack bar. There are 3 pools. 2 at the main complex and 1 on the other side of the complex. I say the other side as you walk through 2 gates to reach the other side. The gates are locked from 9 pm, but there is an additional gate to gain access to and a from. People did tend to leave this gate wide open, which was annoying as anyone could walk into the complex. Entertainment was mini disco, then a show on after. All in all, the entertainment was good. If you are AI, drinks are available until 12. The bar staff work so hard and are very friendly and helpful, so a big shout out to them. The complex is spotlessly clean, as are the rooms. Maid service daily with clean fresh towels. A short walk across from the hotel is a spar, very handy for any essentials you need. Marcos bar and Asian home also right beside the hotel are worth a visit. The beach is a stones throw away, and we spent the day at the beach paying €10.50 for 2 sun beds and a parasol. I thought that was good value. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops a short walk away from the hotel. All in all, we had a fabulous time. The staff all work tirelessly to keep this hotel prestigious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting matagorda, Lanzarote. We look forward to seeing you in 2025. We had a lovely time here as a family of 4, 2 young children. The food was lovely much better than expected, lots of choice. The breakfast was the best- pancakes , churros , bacon, eggs (in different ways), hash brown, beans etc. only let down was that there wasn’t a proper sausage but wasn’t an issue. The pools are lovely and all areas maintained well and liked that towels were removed from beds if people had tried to reserve them early but there was always beds available . Apartment was cleaned everyday and couldn’t fault it- would have been nice however if the bedding was changed once during the stay. All inclusive drinks were fine. Nice walk into the main town and lots of other restaurants etc and a spar convenience store just across from the main entrance. Kids club was also great and the evening kids disco - so much effort put into it. Already looking at coming back.

we are here right now ignor all the bad reviews that's just people moaning for the sake of moaning the place is amazing and we are absolutely loving it 100% be coming back here we are loving it up to now every staff member having been amazing the food we have not had a problem at all the pool area is massive and the place is absolutely spotlessly clean .

Great hotel, very clean and comfort room, pool, frendly stuff, special geeat food. Awsome location, bus, beach very close, bars, restavrants, shops...everithing we need. Srrongly recomended. Cicar car rent is best option to see whole Lanzarote.
