Hotel Lava Beach

The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pool areas are lovely and relaxing, with loads of beds. We had a junior suite which was perfect as it had a separate living area and bedroom. It also had a jacuzzi bath with shower over. Again, the room was kept so clean throughout our stay so shout out to the cleaning team. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast choices were plentiful. From delicious fresh fruit to freshly made omelettes, everything was yummy. I was sick on one of the evenings and the hotel literally couldn’t do enough to ensure my husband and I had everything we needed, including helping us to get a doctor to visit me. Thank you Cristina, Christina and Zsophia for being so caring. I’d absolutely recommend staying at this hotel - it’s relaxed luxury without any pretence.

The Lava Beach is a lovely, modern hotel in a quiet location. It is well maintained and exceptionally clean. My wife and I were on a half-board basis with Jet2 Holidays. We had a lovely room (1418) with a full sea view and an excellent view of the hotel gardens and arriving aircraft. We had plenty of storage space and the maid kept the room very clean. What was baffling was how to keep water in the wash basins. My wife used the old carrier bag trick for washing swimwear but we found out what to do on our very last full day. When we are on holiday, we always look forward to a cooked breakfast and we were not disappointed. Fried eggs and omelettes were cooked to order and, for us, breakfast was excellent. However, we found the evening meal a bit disappointing. Although, there was plenty of choice, apart from two occasions, the soup was watery and tasteless and meat on the “BBQ” section was thin and of poor quality. I would like to mention Monika in particular, who was very friendly and helped us choose some excellent wines. The pool area is very nice and, although there are plenty of sunbeds, most were taken during our stay. The ‘policing’ of the sunbeds seemed a bit hit and miss. One day it was very windy and we had to collect mattresses from the lifeguard. Although I was less than 50 yards away waiting to see the lifeguard and was gone for no more than five minutes, our towels were removed from the sunbeds. However, on several days some people put towels on the sunbeds, went for breakfast and left the beds for about two hours and no action was taken. Overall, in our view, the Lava Beach is an excellent, well maintained and friendly hotel in a good location, with the added bonus that it is only a 10 minutes’ drive from the airport.

This was our third visit to this hotel. Contacted them before our stay to request a specific area for our room. They gave us a perfect room which was so good for our daughter’s needs. Lovely spotlessly clean hotel with great choices for breakfast. Plenty of sun beds available as this hotel does ‘police’ the no reserving of beds policy that it clearly states. Although whereas two years ago all belongings were removed and left at the lifeguard station, this year they were folded up and left on the table. This somewhat defeats the object as it still looks like people are still at those beds. We were lucky enough to be there for the White Party, which was good fun with plenty going on. Valerie & Kiko were excellent yet again. This hotel is in a great location and very secure. The staff were friendly and helpful. Probably could do with ‘a bit more atmosphere’ in the evenings. Felt like we were a hinderance in the bar after 11.15pm. Would have expected a little something in the room for our third visit.

I'm a regular visitor to Hotel Lava Beach. My first stay was Sept 2021 for two weeks, I've since been back 3 times and I love it every time. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Lots of amenities also. Just across from the beach, the sunrise walks in the morning out to the airport are my favorite things to do. Food and drinks are on the pricey side but the breakfast spread is fresh and plentiful. Looking forward to my return trip soon.

This holiday was just the 'pick me up' that we both needed after a holiday nightmare back in January. We were greeted at the bus and didn't need to worry about our cases, checked in, offer drinks and then taken to our beautiful room. We've always travelled all inclusive but this time we went half board and the food was absolutely out of this world! We realise that all inclusive is not for us anymore, the food quality depreciates. We had fresh lobster, langustine, sushi, homemade ice creams and sorbets the food was different and delicious and the staff were always pleasant and happy and really enjoyed working there! The director Nicole came to us often to check if we were happy with everything and the answer was always a resounding YES. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom and beautiful towels for around the pool or beach. The towel mam (don't know his name) was lovely). The entire hotel was spotless and we could not fault it at all. This is the first place I havent got fed up with the food, again I think its because it was half board instead of all inclusive. The fruit was plentiful at breakfast and evening meal and the fridge was stocked with coca cola, Fanta, soda water, beer once on arrival and each day you got 2 bottles of still water put in there each day. There's a supermarket in walking distance and you can buy snacks etc or purchase lunch at the hotel. This place is so relaxed I forgot to use the meditation centre! There's yoga sessions and Aquaerobics too. Oh I nearly forgot, there's 2 pools, one that's a jacuzzi type pool and then one that's a swimmers pool. This hotel is aimed more for adults and is great for accessibility!

A fantastic hotel. We needed a totally relaxing week, and that is what we had. Thank you to ALL the fantastic staff for making our holiday special. Everyone, including the cleaners & gardeners were so pleasant. Reception staff were always helpful. We booked a sea view room, not a sea view suite, and we couldn't have wished for more. It was immaculate & overlooked the beautiful gardens, ideal location for watching the sea, the planes, and all those energetic people going for an early morning jog. We loved the 'Blanco' night, what a voice that young lady has! We stayed half board, the breakfast choices were delicious. However, the evening meals were a bit hit and miss with us, but we always found something to eat, the salads and deserts were so nice. We didnt get the chance to have a cocktail at the roof bar, which means we will have to return!! We definitely recommend Lava Beach, but maybe b&b next time. Thank you to all the staff.

Amazing hotel, glass of orange juice on arrival I upgraded to a sea view room. Had our cases taken up by the hotel staff which was a nice touch. Our room was very clean and comfortable great showers and cleaned to an exceptional standard. We chose bed and breakfast great choice every morning. You can buy tickets for the evening meal or eat out in one of the many restaurants in the area. There is a nice walkway straight outside of the hotel where you can have a nice post-breakfast stroll (watch out for electric scooters lol) Great sunbeds and the pool bar gives you a little bell to have drinks or snacks delivered straight to your bed. The jacuzzi by the pools was a nice way to sit and soak up the rays. Evening entertainment was great lots of different acts every night after your dinner (meals in the hotel were so good) All the staff from cleaners to reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back best hotel in Lanzarote.

My husband and I (both 30) have just left the hotel after a 7 day stay, booked through TUI. We have high standards and what a wonderful stay. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful with any requests. Rooms were spacious, comfy and clean! Hotel was super clean throughout. Gate with direct access to promenade with bars, restaurants and shops a 5 minute walk. Amble parking outside and underneath hotel (number plate recognition). Room cleaned everyday, communal areas spotless. Fab breakfast buffett with a great range of food- fresh choices always on offer. Pool was great, good temperature and depth- really enjoyed. Can’t wait to return!

Hotel is just a 5 min taxi or drive from the airport. Reception staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Room was lovely. We had a balcony overlooking the main pool, directly above the evening entertainment room which perfectly caught the evening sun. Breakfast was spectacular, absolutely anything you could want including an egg station for omelettes, poached eggs etc. Each morning there was yoga and other exercise classes - only issue being they finished at the same time as breakfast. We took half board and were so delighted (given the poor reviews on here) Food was varied and again each night the freshly cooked dishes were delicious. Lots of beds around the pool. Sea / beach just across the path at the bottom of the hotel. Cheap Aussie bar next door, 5 min walk to a supermarket and 5-10 min walks to other bars and restaurants. Perfect stay. Thank you.
