My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Villa Quaranta. Located in the countryside outside of Verona, the lovely grounds of the hotel were treed with bright gardens. The lobby was nicely adorned with warm wood; our room, comfortable and spacious with quintessential Italian charm. The group, with whom we were traveling, enjoyed an elegant dinner preceded by a tasting of wines from the Tommasi vineyards. The wines were excellent, and the meal was one of the best in our travels. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The service throughout our stay was top-notch. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take full advantage of the pool and spa facilities. Our only regret is that we wish we could have stayed much longer!

Definitely a gem just a few miles from Verona. Honestly it is quite difficult not to assign 5 stars as this hotel is simply stunning,in all its parts. Who left negative reviews probably has no clue of what hospitality means. BREAKFAST: Absolutely stunning, the room is beautiful next to the internal.garden, wow. Huge selection of food, cheese, salmon, grilled courgettes and aubergines, sweets,english breakfast too. The breakfast staff is absolutely top, spot on, attentive, very organized, always refillng the counter on time, super friendly and smiling. We have been served by Beatrice, definitely top customer service at its finest. The quality of coffee served is great too, and it is not easy nowadays to have some coffee standards kept so high, espresso was delicious, creamy. HOUSEKEEPING: Amazing, always smiling in the corridors, welcoming guests and being always proactive for any requests. RECEPTION: Let's start from the night porter, a proper gentleman, unfortunately i missed his name but he has been extremely professional and attentive. I have also been impressed by the a**osphere in the team, as I found out the restaurant staff gathering in the hall after the service to chat and relaxing, it was absolutely great, it clearly means a lot about how these guys love their workplace. In terms of reception a special mention to Silvia, absolutely excellent, professional, classy, efficient, definitely she has a great and bright future in hospitality, for sure she will be a great front office manager one day. Her foothpath is quite clear. POOL and THERMARIUM: faultless, simply stunning. Due to a strict calendar we have had no chance to enjoy the restaurant but for sure it has been pinned up for our next visit. Well done all, excellent job!

Everything as i expected, clean and good services from the staff people. The room was a bit to warm during the night. The breakfast was ok and the reception team was very helpfull and with a good attitude.

Nice staff, nice food, excellent wine, Cesar the sommelier is magical, taking care of the guests as it should, recommend excellent wine, the room is vsry specious, very comfortable bed and pillows highly recommended

This is a large, impersonal “conference” hotel. Don’t expect anything like the photos online if you are looking for a romantic getaway. It isn’t at all “old world” and characterful…..it’s modern and large. Our room was okay, but a bit dated and nothing special ( we were in a “junior suite”). The bathroom is HUGE, but strange with an impossible “shower cabinet” the likes of which I have never seen before that is only fit for an oddly shaped human. On our second night there was a wedding in the courtyard outside our room (we were not warned about this) which featured loud music and screaming people (and children). The restaurant is okay, but for the price…..not worth it. We asked to speak to a sommelier and we’re sent a waitron who told us she “likes wine”! We were on a trip to experience and taste wine from this region, so this was seriously annoying! We had to ask to please speak to the sommelier! The lighting in the restaurant is bright and rather more “canteen” than expensive restaurant. If you want to use the spa, you have to BUY a swimming cap…..you’d think for the prices they charge, they could include one! Breakfast is fine….but it is a large, impersonal room with an industrial size buffet. If that’s your thing, then fabulous! We traveled from far for this trip and we spent a lot of time looking for the best accommodation options and places to visit……..sadly, Villa Quaranta will go on our list as a bad mistake.
