Wow! what a beautiful,stylish, quiet and lovely place. We spent 5 nights at Masseria Samenti and we enjoyed every moment. Super friendly and welcoming staff, amazing food and wines. Perfect views, great pool. Close to the beautiful beaches. Cosy and clean rooms, wonderful deco. Absolutely nothing we did not like. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

CAR HIRE IS A MUST! Without a car, it’s an hour walk to restaurants etc. And don’t come off season, we came last week of May & struggled to find anywhere open. Beautiful, relaxing & clean hotel, friendly staff also. But you are very much left to your own devices during the day, the only food available all day is an appetiser which is a few small dishes of nibbles. Breakfast is basic & dinner is overpriced. You won’t find ‘classic’ Italian dishes like pizza and pasta on the menu. Thank you to Barbara who helped us organise a hire car a few days into our stay, which was difficult bc of the time of year. It says close to the beach but in reality it’s close to a rocky coastline where it’s dangerous to enter the sea. Sandy beaches are at least a 15 min drive north or south of the coastline. Gallipoli is the closest town, beautiful and tons of restaurants/ bars/ shops etc 24 min drive away. Otranto is also gorgeous - 1 hour drive. Special shoutout to Serena (usually wears red) she was a helpful, sweet and caring member of staff who went above and beyond to ensuring we felt happy and comfortable :) We would recommend this hotel for couples who want a quiet & romantic getaway.

My partner and I have just returned from an amazing 9 days in Puglia, Italy. For anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Italy, I cannot recommend Masseria Samenti highly enough. The location and setting are wonderful, with easy access to Gallipoli and the towns and beaches along this delightful coastline. The accommodation and facilities are excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean with a lovely, private sitting area in front that allows you to enjoy the view and is just a stone's throw from the pool area, which is simply stunning. Barbera and the team could not be more hospitable and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. But what really sets Masseria Samenti apart from anywhere else is the food. The quality really is top class. Everything was absolutely delicious and always beautifully presented – but also very reasonably priced. In the UK you would have to pay at least double the price for this level of fine dining. The waiting staff were also first rate. Always attentive and professional, I can’t speak highly enough of them. If we revisit Puglia in the future, which we hope to soon, we will definitely return. Thanks again to all at Masseria Samenti.

First of all this place is HEAVEN….! The Masseria is beautiful with stunning views and kept to an exceptional standard. Breakfast is refreshing and healthy and the evening menu caters for both Adults and Children. The Tomato Salad with home grown tomotoes and basil is amazing and the Head Chef is fantastic. The pool is big and has a shallow end for children and deeper end for adults. It’s really clean and perfect temperature. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything you need on site. All the staff were very welcoming and in particular Barbara is very happy to help you if you need something. Drink prices are reasonable and with a local supermarket less than 5mins away you can easily pick up some cheap lunch options with traditional Irwin food. The Masseria does not offer lunch so worth visiting. Otranto and Ostuni are must visits and are 60-90mins away by car. Would recommend you rent a car as nothing is walkable. Overall as a young family this was the perfect getaway, credit to the whole team at Samenti for a wonderful stay, amazing service, and excellent standards across the board.

Location bellissima dove abbiamo soggiornato 10 gg. Un oasi di pace e relax immersa in un giardino super curato e colorato con una piscina bellissima fuori dai soliti schemi. In leggera collina e quindi sempre ventilato e con vista mare all'orizzonte. Pet friendly. Personale sia della masseria che del ristorante molto gentile, preparato e disponibile. Consiglio le camere lungo il giardino e non le 2 fronte piscina, più piccole. In ultimo, visto che il ristorante è molto bello e si mangia molto molto bene, e quindi è piacevole rimanerci anche la sera x chi alloggia piu giorni, si consiglia almeno una portata fuori menù x avere più scelta. X il resto location super consigliata anche come punto di partenza x vedere le varie spiagge e città del Salento.

Posto Top personale di livello l ideale per visitare il Salento Chef Matteo Normanno propone una cucina del posto con ingrediente di livello assoluto con particolare attenzione per il senza glutine sia a colazione che per i pasti.Accogliente intimo indimenticabile

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata tra amici, il pranzo ottimo, casereccio ma con contaminazioni fusion consigliate dallo chef Matteo e dal preparatissimo staff. Da salentina non posso che consigliare questo posto fantasitco!!

Accoglienza ottima. Camere pulite, spaziose e con una meravigliosa vista. È presente anche una piscina in cui rilassarsi in tranquillità. Molto abbondante la colazione con proposte di dolce e salato. Ci ha sorpresi il ristorante: piatti della tradizione rivisitati con originalità e qualità. Consigliato.

Trovandomi nel Salento per motivi di lavoro,ho pensato di concedermi una breve parentesi di relax sulla costa Ionica.Dopo aver valutato alcune strutture,la scelta è caduta sulla Masseria Samenti. Varcata la soglia del portone d'ingresso,ci si rende conto di trovarsi in un'oasi di tranquillità e di bellezza,un luogo dove il tempo sembra rallentare. Sono stato accolto da Barbara con gentilezza ed entusiasmo ed ho alloggiato nella camera che affaccia sulla piscina.L'orizzonte è completato dalla campagna, gli uliveti e dall'azzurro del mare. Gli interni dell'alloggio,presentano la pietra a vista,un mobilio essenziale ma funzionale e tutte le comodità del caso. La cena nella struttura è stata molto apprezzabile,con un menù vario basato sulla cucina del territorio,ma con un tocco di modernità e fantasia, integrate molto bene con la tradizione. Ho gradito la degustazione di diverse qualità di olio evo,proposta da Giovanni, insieme ad una breve illustrazione dei prodotti. Infine una menzione speciale alla colazione del mattino successivo: tutto ottimo!Dal salato al dolce, c'era tutto quello che si potesse desiderare.Spero di poter tornare,magari la prossima volta,per una vacanza.
