Stayed 3 days in May with my wife. The best service I've ever experienced in a hotel - will come back to this. The spaces inside and outside make it a perfect retreat when the streets of Bellagio are too busy with visitors during peak hours in afternoon. It is obvious that the organization pays attention to detail and the bar, saloons, breakfast room and hallways ++ is worth a visit on its own. Room towards park was not big, but still beautiful and perfect for us. The quality of the food and especially the drinks (served with exquisite small antipasti dishes in the afternoon) were 10 of 10. The best I've had. Then the service: this is the foremost reason we have already decided to come back. Everyone from front-desk, consierge, bar/restaurant, breakfast and cleaning personnel were fantastic. Simply fantastic and again the best I've ever experienced. You will be met with genuine and heart-felt desire to make your day perfect. Yet not too formal. Just a great stay! Arrivideci!

The hotel room, amenities, food, location etc. were excellent, and the bellboys in particular were very helpful and kind. The reason I have not given an excellent rating is related to the topic about which I complained repeatedly to the staff and they were not able to or willing to solve. There was a group of 6 guests (three couples) that were staying in the Vista Lago rooms below us and they were smoking ********* all day on their terrace. The smell came onto our balcony continuously and we could barely sit outside or keep the door open, something we paid for. Apparently nothing could be done beyond asking them to be considerate, which they were not. This was after I made 2-3 complaints and there was usually no follow up from the staff providing me updates on the matter unless I asked. I was told that they could not prove for certain the guests were smoking drugs, but that explanation does not seem credible. They could have easily come to my room and seen them do it with their own eyes, if they chose to. Additionally, if any guest smoked in the room and damaged it you would charge them anyways for the damage without seeing them do it first hand. I am surprised that these guests were allowed to break both the hotel's regulations and Italian law openly on the property with no repercussions. My guess is that they were spending a lot of money and management was willing to put up with it at the expense of other guests. Anyways, overall I had a good time but I will likely not return to this property in the future.

It is a small hotel, with 18 rooms, the front desk is very small, and there is always only one person. The price of 5 stars, the room is about 3-4 stars, and the service is about 3 stars. But we missed a mobile phone after we checked out. The hotel found out and contacted us by email. We replied to the email and asked them to arrange for DHL to send it back (fees at their own expense). They dealt with it in a timely manner. Thank you very much.

The stuff is superbe! The people from the front desk are super professional even when you are stressed they think about a way to solve problems with going the extra mile! Thank you so much for such service! So reader please be nice to them! The breakfast and the beds/rooms/toilet/foyer are very clean - that’s really a big plus and beds are truely comfy. The modern Retro looking supercool Toilet even has a bidet and the soap is not one of those cheap soaps it smells wonderful and is not slimy! Check out the Italian espresso! It’s good and also the mini cupcakes, fresh different fruits, the fresh yoghurt (no drying spots yesss) and the salami is remarkable. Foyer and check in with modern desks for working travelers or young and old kids who want to charge their gadgets… Wifi: no Problems Good rest :)

I love this place for its location near a huge forest great for running and cycling - even on a freezing winter morning! It was a good price, well organised, friendly staff and very clean. It is away from most things near an industrial estate but I chose it for the proximity to the forest and all the trails there :) It was also a simple walk to a small town with pizza and some basics. I didn't have the breakfast as it seemed quite expensive and was too busy running ;)

I would say this was an ok hotel. The hotel itself was alright in terms of rooms, staff, cleanliness etc. Wasn't aware there was a motel next door so that was a surprise when we first arrived. It was smack bang in the middle of Lake Como and Milan which was decent Two things I would say is REALLY important and it was not advertised or mentioned by the booking company we booked with or in any reviews I had read: 1) as it's in the middle of a motorway, public transport is pretty much non existent. Closet station was a 22 mintue walk from the hotel which was ridiculous. We spent faaaaaaaaar to much money on cabs in order to move anywhere outside the hotel. Which leads into the next point... 2) getting an Uber or calling a cab was as hard as finding a needle in a haystack. A constant battle on where we were going to get out next cab out of the hotel to get anywhere every morning because it was that hard to get taxi's. When asked at the reception they mentioned because the hotel is in Lomazzo there isn't a taxi rank or company based here so cabs will need to be called out from either Milan or Lake Como in order to collect anyone at the hotel. Which is very silly. The hotel did have thier own driver however having 1 or 2 drives for the whole hotel was very silly because he wasn't always available (who can be surprised) A separate side note is on the breakfast 'buffet' it wasn't amazing. Very basic considering its a 4* hotel, I've had better choices in Travelodge. I hear that Italians aren't big on breakfast but some options would be appreciated! Would I stay here again? Defo not! But if you're going to hire a car then it's not a bad shout to stay here as you have your own transport to get to places plus parking I believe is free at the hotel.

My partner and I stayed here for one night, and we cannot wait to visit again. Room was lovely, and views from the restaurant and terrace were stunning. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were so friendly and accomodating, and we went for a swim first thing in the morning which was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was delicious with a tray of pastries, juices, jam/chocolate spread and cake brought to the table while you waited for your cooked breakfast option. Bed was very comfortable, however we were woken up at about 12.30 with music blaring from the apar**ents/rooms above our room, and our reception was closed at this point. Regardless, this only went on for about 45 minutes and we were able to get back to sleep. Upon checkout, we were given a bag to take away with us, which had pasta and passata inside, which was such a lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We have been in many hotels in different countries, but this one is really special, hotel is beautiful, very nice location, just 9 minutes you are in city center by train. All is good, but personal, Francesco at resection, makes experience to stay here really amazing. Any question you might have, he has an answer, and best is that Francesco does it with pleasure, he helps really with heart, we have never seen such a perfect help in any other hotel. Wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks recently on our usual Italian holiday. We have stayed all over this fantastic country and have to say this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. Located perfectly in Bellagio, it just has everything you can wish for. Cleanliness, especially at the moment, is second to none. Service is second to none.... From helping out with ferry timetables, restaurant recommendations to just having a friendly chat, absolutely fantastic. We stayed in room 101, probably the best in the hotel.... Wonderful balcony, great for watching the thunderstorms 😁 Breakfast was lovely.... Nice variety but most of all, ingredients were fresh and top quality. And mum's cake..... Wow, just scrummy!!! We had a early pick up and they provided a few breakfast bits. Little touches were regular on our holiday but go a long way. I would just like to thank Michele, Elizabeth, Marcello, Mum's cake and of course Ramon for an absolutely amazing holiday. Family run and it really shows, can't recommend highly enough.

We found out about this place through a friend of a friend. This is now our perfect little find. We previously stayed at Cernobbio, however we would come back to this hotel. The location is perfect on the lake and without the price tag of other hotels right on the lake. They offer breakfast. We had a room overlooking the large balcony and and the lake and we had a table and chairs to watch the views. The restaurant was fine and drinks very affordable. The staff are great and the rooms are modest but very clean and comfortable. There is a spa there however we didn’t get a chance to use it. There are bicycles to use to ride along the lake and there is ample car parking, which can be an issue around Lake Como.

Planning a holiday on Como and Garda, there was a need for a short night on Como. Choose Bellagio and Miralago Hotel. Available prices, good location. Actually everything matched the description on the Internet. Clean, comfortable room. Quick settlement. We had the first floor and the windows in the garden. Sleep with open windows. The morning heard the singing of birds and the cry of the chick. No noise of people or cars. A beautiful breakfast from the hostess in the garden. To the active center of Bellagio nearby. 10-15 minutes on the scenic streets. Go across the mountain so I recommend being in good physical form) Tips: We arrived late in the evening and the seats on the inner parking were not enough. Parking along the street was not steel: it was all narrow enough. Public parking is 150 meters from the hotel. From 8.00 to 20.00 - paid. There are parking lots, but the card could not be paid, so prepare coins. Banknotes do not accept.

I stayed here for 5 days and was very comfortable. I had a solo room with a great mountain view, it was an absolute joy to wake up to. Breakfast is included and they serve the creamiest cappucino I have ever tasted, seriously, its insanely good. They also serve a delicious, rich and moist slice of cake, boiled eggs, fresh fruit and some more of the basics for breakfast. There's a fee if you want to have your eggs fried or scrambled. The mattress was of a great firmness and I got an extra pillow on request. If you need an adapter for your laptop, they have this for you as well. If you want to bring some groceries in there's a fridge you can use downstairs. I'd say the only thing that really bothered me was not being able to make tea in my room. I missed having a kettle, instead I'd have to go downstairs to ask for a cup of tea, that got charged to my total bill at the end of my stay. Besides that, all the staff was incredibly friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The village this villa is located in is also very friendly and quite pretty. There's enough places to walk or hike to for some stunning views, nature and rock collecting. I got a very warm welcome in San Fedele and definitely would recommend anyone to visit. The locals are kind and fun-loving. For solo travelers who don't speak Italian very well it can be a bit intimidating to go out since all nightlife is accumulated in one street and they don't speak a lot of English, but seriously, just go and try your best. Wish people a nice day or evening in Italian, and Google Translate your way through it. There's some people who speak English but generally, just try so you're not being rude. On the day of my birthday, the local flower shop owner came by in the morning and picked and handed me a bunch of beautiful flowers (without knowing it's my birthday). It was a great moment, really made me happy. She was incredibly nice. Her truffle dog is pictured, don't try to pet him lol. On the last day I happened to see her again and got handed some amazingly fragrant flowers, again 🥰

Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2023 and had an amazing experience. Room was large and spotlessly clean with a lovely views from our balcony. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. We chose the half board option and were really pleased that we did, breakfast was a european buffet style with fresh bread, meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries, too many options to mention. Our evening meal was a home cooked 4 course affair served either in the lovely dining room or on the open veranda outside. Different traditional dishes every night. The hotel is located a short bus ride outside Menaggio on a hill side, there is a regular bus service and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Should we ever return to Lake Como we will definitely stay here again. Well done Albergo Breglia!

We came for a relaxing and unique experience on our last day of holidays and got the exact opposite. This place lacks hospitality. The staff and management don't know how to handle situations and they make mistakes and omit information. They will try to overcharge you for many things. The quality is substandard. When we arrived we asked for room service but were told they are very busy and so this will take more than an hour and that to make it easier we should come to the restaurant instead. So we do and when we get there the waiter tells us arrogantly that for this time they will allow us to order something from the room service menu - as if they were doing us a favour. Then the spa - you can only use the spa 4 hours consecutively (this is omitted from their website). When I received the confirmation of my booking and they sent a message specifying that this needed to be consecutively, we asked if it was possible to do 2 hours one day and 2 hours the next but were straight away declined. We thought about getting massages but they only do it in the afternoon so they said they could do it during our 4 hour spa time or the next day in the afternoon. As we had only booked for one night we said we would think about it and possibly pay extra to pay for the spa the next day so that we could get the massages. However, when we entered the spa, that's when they decided to tell us that they have closed their sauna and hammam for COVID reasons so only the pools are open. When you point it out to them, they say that in the website, it is written ”following the Italian decree” but the decree says you can keep open sauna and hammam as long as you do it under reservation and you clean it. So they specifically omit information to lure customers. The spa manager approached us after we spoke to the receptionist and offered us one free cup of Himalayan salts scrub used in the hammam to probably ”calm us” which we thought ridiculous and not sure how to take that. When we left the spa and spoke to the receptionist again, they reminded us that they gave us some salts - I was dumbfounded. We obviously did not pay for an extra spa day or the massages. As for the pools, they are not that ”interesting”. They have the usual jets but the pressure isn't that great and the whirlpool was not hot enough. Their walking cold to hot pool was neither cold enough or hot enough. The atmosphere is like being in a normal hotel swimming pool. The Quercus restaurant was fraud. I have eaten in many fine dining but we paid 230 euros for 2 people that left a bad taste instead of blissful happiness. We went early for an aperitivo - we ordered an over priced glass of their bubbles and the accompaning food arrived 20 minutes after we finished drinking the wine. For dinner, you can order a la carte (recommended) or they have set menus that you don't know what you're getting because it's the chef who comes up with it based on (what we thought) our tastes. We have only spent 3 nights in this beautiful garden. The old buildings have been renovated lovely and the old charm is feeling in the facility. From the reception to the newly opened restaurant (absolutely delicious regional food! evening) the staff was very friendly and premature. English was not a problem too. The nearness to the motorway we have seen as a advantage in the excursions, the noise is heard. For our dog the good was also a highlight! In the small park, accessible through the window, you can use the line to walk. There are also plenty of green flakes around the hotel. The buffet is rather overviewed, there are regional sauce and cheese, bread and sweet food, and fresh fruit (unfortunately no vegetables). Who prefers a shower than a bath, should ask for a room with a shower. We have got a suite with a bathtub which was uncomfortable for us. In the whole we had a beautiful feeling to be welcome, and that's the most important!

The last time we stayed was on August 1, 2022 the price was raised since it is August ... but the service is not... even after we were taken to the room, the lights were still shut off and the lights were still shut off. The above bed did not work exactly and when I returned immediately asked if the room was changed, the night porter also paid the price, he lifted the voice, he told me there was no reason to change room and that I was not able to use it the lights and that the lights above the bed do not work in any room ( what is not true because they always worked ) at last changed our room and look casual 'all worked' the suite with large hydromassage bath when we had it take was only working hot water so we were 3 hours out to wait for it to cool... From 1 to 5 Cleaning 2,5 Breakfast 1 Professionality and gentleness 1 We wouldn't come back anymore ... I don't recommend ,.. more cheap spend € 20 more but in a much more professional place (shame because the hotel itself has a great potential )

Le stanze sono sporche e malandate , dalle finestre al secondo piano si vedono cumuli di mozziconi e sporcizia varia , le parti comuni , ristorante e ascensore compreso necessitano di rinfrescata generale . Sui materassi si sprofonda per l'usura e quando ti alzi se piu' stanco di prima ! Il mobilio delle stanze va' ritoccato e manuntenuto accettabile . La colazione e' appena sufficiente ma non da 4 stelle come lo era qualche anno addietro . Il servizio del ristorante e' confuso , si portano le pietanze sbagliando i tavoli e facendo attendere maggiormente i destinatari...salverei lo chef sempre al top . Ci auguriamo di tornare la prox volta con uno scenario piu' vivibile e rimaniamo a disposizione per suggerimenti e proposte !

What a surprise. Entrance, garage, check-in were so easy. But there was another big surprise: we were upgraded to a Suite. Room and bathroom were prefect and clean. The restaurant food was very good. There is a nice terrace overlooking the large swimming pool. The staff was very professional and extremely friendly. Breakfast was a very well appointed buffet. The location was perfect for us. Not too far from the freeway without the drawbacks and not too far from Lugano that can be reached in less than half hour. We highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed 5 great nights at the Hotel Bellavista, which is centrally located within easy walking distance from the ferries. The front desk staff were incredibly helping, as we were hiking in the area and need advice on transportation. We loved the terrace in the afternoons, watching the ferries and partaking in the best aperaol spritzes in Menaggio! The bar staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely hardworking. Everyone at the hotel was very professional and accommodating. Our room overlooking the lake, was large and well adorned. Hotel Bellavista is a gem in the lovely town of Menaggio!!

Lovely setting on lake Como. Staff was friendly and enjoyed breakfast setting. Easy walk to the Lake and many other very good restraunts. Hotel is located at 4th ferry stop from town of Como. We stayed as part of a Viking Cruise extension Vacation.. As mentioned in a few other reviews that I had read prior to arrival, the sound insulation in room is not the best but gave 5 stars as many more positive aspects to focus on at hotel. A/C worked well! comfortable. Beautiful pool over looking the lake with water access to swim. Had a Spa but did not use these services.

My partner and I stayed here for one night, and we cannot wait to visit again. Room was lovely, and views from the restaurant and terrace were stunning. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were so friendly and accomodating, and we went for a swim first thing in the morning which was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was delicious with a tray of pastries, juices, jam/chocolate spread and cake brought to the table while you waited for your cooked breakfast option. Bed was very comfortable, however we were woken up at about 12.30 with music blaring from the apar**ents/rooms above our room, and our reception was closed at this point. Regardless, this only went on for about 45 minutes and we were able to get back to sleep.
