I booked lunch and overnight sleep with Ol3id at his family guesthouse - the food was spectacularand unique ( home corn Couscous & Best view with great Hospitality . I highly recommend traveler's to Dades Gorge to stop by even for Tea & picture over the valley

Wow! Our stay here at Maison D’Hotes was divine. We were welcomed with open arms from our host, an authentic Berber man, Bob. He greeted us with his beautiful smile, kindness and open arms. We instantly felt we were home. The rooms were clean, warm and peaceful, with a cozy bed, blankets and heater. We slept like babies. To wake up and step onto the terrace, to overlook the most breathtaking and magical views of the Dades Valley, was mesmerizing. As the beautiful sun sets, the mountains move and the magic appears. Be still and enjoy this heaven under the stars. The traditional food was absolutely delicious, ready for us anytime we were ready. Thank you Bob and the team for all your warmth, generosity, and engaging conversations on the terrace. Highly recommended. Do not just pass by Maison D’Hotes, stay a night, three nights, a week, a lifetime. We will definitely be back our dear friend.

The owner Bob is very friendly and makes the best orange juice in marokko! The room is cozy and the heater is doing well! Breakfast-buffet is really good! You can do nice walks around. In the food hall you can find loads of books and games!

La Vallee was a delightful experience. Bob was an exceptionally hospitable host with a smile on his face all the time. The rooms were great - ours had a balcony. The food was excellent. We were in the middle of our trip and asked them to do our laundry and everything was clean, folded and ready the next morning. Highly recommend:!

This was our trips highlight! Stayed here 2 nights. Have never been to a more perfect place. Staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our hike in the valley was organized by them and it was amazing. The interior of this place is amazing, food is beyond the words - incredible! Each room has a terrace with a spectacular view on the valley. I would love to return here, so I highly recommend!

The stay at Maison D’hôtes couldn’t be better, starting from the views of the room, to the delicious food and its lovely owners, it is the perfect place to stay when traveling around the wonders of Morocco Atlas. Bob went above and beyond to make us feel like at home, never doubt staying here! ❤️

Beautiful and cozy, La Vallee des Figues is the perfect place to explore the Dades valley. Family owned and run, you instantly get a welcoming berber vibe as you enter the door. The rooms are very spacious and perfectly decorated, with a private balcony offering a breathtaking view of the monkey fingers (look out for the praying buddah!). Same for the common terrace where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. Shout out to the cook, Bob's mom, who prepared us an exquisit and rich dinner. His son welcomed us with the biggest smile and an incredible kindness. The long chats with Bob in front of a sweet cup of tea after sunset made our experience just perfect, allowing us to understand a lot more of what we had been seeing and experiencing along the way. Can't wait to be back for some trekking!

Excellent starting location for hiking to the monkey valley, you can do a whole day hiking or half; excellent guides which knows the way around d as ne also take to hidden spots and gorges; always aware of the conditions of the persons in the hiking group and adapting immediate. Accommodation and traditional cooking are excellent. And stunning view from all rooms!!! Big terras for watching stars; in wintertime Cody open fire is available … excellent atmosphere

Spent two nights here on our trip through Morocco and it was such a great spot! The food served was amazing, the staff there was really cool and we had a great time hanging out with Bob and the crew!
