The breakfast was the only downer. Not much to pick from. Go check out Holiday Inn Express and see what your breakfast should be like.
However, the PQI gal running the breakfast was very nice.

You will need to drive, but not far to restaurants and shopping. Coffee in the room. Breakfast was not bad. Cereals, make your own waffles, pastries, cheese omelets and sausage. An assortment of juices and coffees.

I called days in advance to see about an early check in, I just needed the room key and to put my 1 bag in the room so we could attend a wedding that afternoon. The person on the phone was very polite and said I could check in at 1 so I showed up at 1:30 and the person at the desk said I wasn’t able to check in and she said “I don't know why someone would tell you that you could check in early” so there’s clearly a lack of communication. Later that night when we finally go to check in, I have my husband check us in and they wouldn’t let him check us in because I was the one who made the reservation so he had to come get me so I could personally check us in. I get it, the policies, but it was all just very inconvenient for our 1 night stay. $188 for less then a 12 hour stay, it wasn’t worth it.

The hotel is lovely and comfortable. We booked this hotel because it is listed as Pet Friendly. When we arrived with our Westie we were advised that he was welcome but it would be an additional $75 for the night. I would have to call that “friendly-ish”. He did appreciate the milk bone but for $75 perhaps a dog bath and nail trim would have made it worth it!
