Hotel Prague Star

A lovely small hotel located on a side street in the heart of the city. It was clean and quite. The staff was first rate. The TV lacked channels in english, but who has time for TV? Our only complaint is that breakfast opened at 8. We would had prefered that it opened at least one hour earlier. Still great value for the money. We will return if we visit Prague again.

Good hotel with excellent buffet breakfast handy location BUT no English tv Channels only Czech and German so 50+ channels to watch but no English movies or news crazy.., also check who u book with u can change dates … my provider would not let me change dates so be warmed

Hotel is in a side street which we found to be lovely and quiet...there are two lap dancing bars close by, but no sex workers loitering anywhere near the hotel or bars..it is right on top of a metro station, and a 10 to 20 minute stroll to the old town...Prague is huge with so much to see, and all within walking distance if you are fit and able...our room was smallish, but large enough.. After all, it isn't for living in, just sleeping...The room itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and made up daily... Aircon unit and safe provided with complimentary coffee/tea and shampoo, shower gel etc which was unexpected for the price...breakfast is European, meats,cheeses, pizza rice etc...fresh bread and rolls, cereals, juices and fruit...we stuck with toast etc, but the food looked great, just not for us in the morning..Wendy is the manager and her and all the girls we met were helpful, friendly and a credit to the hotel..would recommend highly, and will use when next in Prague

Even though our room was a little bit too small, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. The location is good, not far from the historical centre, 2 minutes walking distance from San Vencenslao Square, 15/20 minutes walking distance from Charles Bridge. We really appreciated the breakfast with so many options that we couldn’t try all of them. Thumbs up for the green peas included in the breakfast: we don’t usually eat them at home, but we really liked them! The multi-cereal bread was also very good with jams, chocolate or to accompany savoury food. Clean rooms, which were cleaned up every morning. Professional and helpful staff. We also tried some of the tourist activities that the hotel organises and we enjoyed them.

A good hotel just off Wenceslas Square, within walking distance of the Old Town. The room was smallish but OK for our needs. The bed was comfortable and plenty of storage space for bags/clothes. There was no AC in the room which may be an issue. The bathroom was a decent size, however the shower seemed to only have one pressure, very strong, and it leaked quite badly around the hose and from the door on to the floor. Breakfast is OK. Central European style, so lots of meats, cheese and pickled things. But also bread, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. At the top of the street on the corner with the square there is the Railway Restaurant, which is fun to visit. Also, at the other end of the street and turn right, walk to the parks. There's a stop for the 22 tram which you can take to the Old Town, across the river and up to the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Prima hotel en prettige locatie voor een citytrip in Praag, alle bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand en 2 metrostations zijn in de directe omgeving. Heerlijke bedden en prima badkamer. Ontbijt was ook prima veel keuze en prima om de dag te beginnen. Zou hier wederom weer verblijven voor een trip naar Praag

on a passe un excellent séjour à Prague pour le marche de noël l hôtel est très bien situe pour tout visiter à pied c est très propre et le petit déjeuner est excellent , et en plus l hôtel n est pas très cher je vous le recommande vivement

Ho soggiornato per 3 notti in questo posto, l'unica nota positiva è la posizione, in quanto a pochi passi dalle principali attrazioni. Per quanto riguarda il personale in reception nulla da dire molto cortesi. Le signore che dovrebbero pulire le camere fanno quello che vogliono se hanno voglia passano se non hanno voglia non passano. Camera molto piccola, ma non è un problema in quanto siamo stati fuori praticamente tutto il giorno. INACCETTABILE LA MANCANZA DI ARIA CONDIZIONATA CON 35 GRADI!!! (Su booking c'è scritto che è presente). Non ci tornerei!

Scappate!!! Non capisco come si possa chiamare hotel questo posto! Non parlo di camere piccole e poco funzionali anche xké chi viene a Praga sta quasi tutto il tempo in giro! Però, entro in stanza un cattivo odore che proviene dal bagno per non parlare della poco o inesistente pulizia della camera. Il letto pieno di peli e capelli quelli che mi ritrovo anche nella bagno . Chiedo alla ragazza della reception di farmi cambiare il letto ma non ha il personale , ci prova lei ma non sa da dove iniziare, le lenzuola sono consumate ed ingiallite . Non voglio descrivervi il materasso ed i cuscini ..gialli!! Chiedo di cambiare stanza ma non hanno nulla ! Il giorno dopo chiedo che la stanza venga pulita il risultato? Rimane tutto com’è, chiedo spiegazioni e mi dicono di inviare una mail al direttore! Alla fine siamo scappati ! All’ apparenza sembra tutto bellissimo anche la posizione capisco che possa essere comoda e strategica , ma se mancano le cose basilari allora no. !!! Bocciata !
