I’ve never written a hotel review before in my life but after staying here I am compelled to. First off on entrance the welcome was very lack-lustre, and unprofessional. Girl behind the desk explained nothing about the hotel, times, area etc. Asked for a 1000 CZH deposit fee which we thought was unusual (normally credit/debit card) and as we carried little cash for our trip this then limited what we had to spend (no receipt was given for this, thankfully got it back though) We were given a room which looks nothing like the pictures, it was a room catering for disabled needs which myself nor my partner are. Since it was a disability room we had a wet room, not a proper shower. Thus showering was quite difficult as the head had to be removed (no angle/rotating unit). The shower head even detached from the pipe briefly. The bathroom wasn’t exactly clean, drainage smell came from the ‘bathroom’, mould was found scattered. As well as the towels were not replaced by cleaning staff after being left on the floor. One day we left a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door, yet a cleaner still came in. The walls of our room were very thin, my partner had to use ear plugs to get to sleep each night as we could hear everything outside the room. Instead of a double, we had 2 single beds pushed together, I didn’t mind this but it wasn’t exactly secure as I fell through multiple times. Some of our bed sheets were even ripped. Overall, as for a short stay in Prague this hotel is certainly below average. It’s certainly not a 4 star standard, but at least serves some basic functions. However being said, I would still highly recommend people stay far away from this hotel.
