We loved our room when we arrived, despite the disco sounds from the kitchen underneath. They stopped by about 8.30pm thankfully and we had a reasonable night sleep in a comfy bed. We came back to our hotel next day at 8pm after a day out, having been informed in previous messages that the restaurant closed at 9pm, and it seemed a party was underway. We were shooed away by a party guest who said we couldn't come in so I approached the barman who went to talk to someone in the kitchen and he was very apologetic on return but apparently we weren't allowed in the bar. Dan was very helpful but couldn't make up for the lack of interest and poor comms of management. I'm disabled, was tired and wanted to eat there but we had to walk around and find another restaurant. We chose the hotel becayse we could eat there on Saturday night, so this was really annoying. When we returned at about 10.30pm the party was in full swing and some of the guests were enjoying the courtyard under our bedroom until about midnight. It was. very loud in our room. The party was supposed to finish at 11.30pm but we didn't grt to sleep till 1am due to the noise. We were tgen woken at 8.30am by the radio on full blast under our bed. It seems the Executuve Suite is above the kitchen and kitchen staff don't seem to think this warrants consideration. The bottle being binned below the window was a bit much too. We left early than we had planned, feeling tired, mistreated and annoyed. I sent two messages to the hotel complaining about paying £128 for a night in a room where sleep was rationed and being misled about restaurant and bar facilities, but they haven't bothered to respond, which says more about the establishment than the other issues. Communication over the party/restaurant closure and my justifiable complaint, would have made a huge difference but clearly they don't care about customers or customer service.
