*Stay clear *horrendous reception and hospitality service *worst beach attended in Greece after a 3 week stay We booked this hotel for a one night stay before flying home from Athens, the moment we arrived the receptionist was terribly rude and unprofessional. We booked two rooms, a double and quadruple for my family of 6. This hotel was surprised to see that 6 guests showed up for a booking able to accommodate 6 people. They refused to let us stay referencing the reservation was for two people per room ( the additional two were my 6 and 4 yr old children). At no point did this hotel care to try and accommodate our reservation, we offered to pay additional to cover the cost of the extra people, they refused. We offered to book an additional room to cover the extra head count, once again they refused. At this point they did not care to accommodate but were aggressively pushing us out providing no options for me and my family. This left us with no choice but to submit a cancellation request through our travel agent. After all the terrible turmoil this reception and property manager put us through they denied our cancellation request resulting in a cancellation fee. So not only did they push us out of our reservation made 2 months in advance but had the blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism to deny that. I am convinced that they booked this hotel and used the tactic to avoid canceling our reservation. I also suspect that most of the positive reviews are doctored by the property owner. Without a doubt this was the worst experience I've ever encountered in any sort of service or hospitality industry in 10 lifetimes, it was an experience that stays with you as the worst case senario. Stay clear.
