Kettle Creek Inn

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Kettle Creek Inn in Port Stanley last week! This is a lovely town on the shores of Lake Erie. The Inn is right in the middle of town, a short walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. We stayed just off the beautiful courtyard in a very comfortable room with continental breakfast provided and delivered to the room the night before. We enjoyed this on the small and private attached patio with coffee provided in the room along with a small fridge. There is an option for dinning either indoor or outdoor as well. Staff are very friendly! The most pleasant and comfortable experience which I would want to repeat as soon as possible! Highly recommended!

We rented one of the suites and had a balcony over looking the main street. The room was very spacious and clean. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony and just people watch. Lots of little shops just steps away as well as restaurants. There is a small beach about a 10 minute walk away and the large beach is maybe a 15 minute walk. The room included a continental breakfast that they delivered to your room the night before. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative would be if you had mobility issues, you have to walk upstairs to get to most rooms and the stairs in the main inn are steep. Staff were amazing!

We had hoped to experience dinner at your establishment. When we walked in there was a couple of women in front of us who told the gentleman that they didn't have a reservation. Note that this was a Thursday after the long weekend. He told them to step into the other room and he would see what he could do. We approached another gentleman at the desk and we were told there was no room and fully booked. When we went to ask again - he again told us no room and just walked away from us. We went down the street to another restaurant asked and they told us they also had no room at that time but if we wanted a later time. We walked around the downtown area to use up time until our reservation time, we noticed several tables still available at your place. We went back in to inquiry and we're met by the same gentleman who told us he never spoke to us and that it wasn't him and again walked away. We could be nobody or maybe someone who works for a newspaper, magazine, Tripadvisor, etc. Treat everyone like they are the most important people in the world because you just never know who they are. Just a couple out celebrating their anniversary or someone who was out reviewing different establishments to write something in a published magazine, newspaper, blog. You never know!
