Ellen Hotel

The Restaurant used to be 4 stars. Since they changed ownership recently it’s more akin to a pub meal. The service is no longer top notch. I talked to another long term customer who also won’t be going back. They don’t have a chef anymore as far as I am concerned, they have a cook. How cheap can you get!

Great rooms and service! The location makes working easy and the food is great! I would recommend this to other business travelers

Beautiful little gem in Port Pirie. Totally recommend if your passing through and looking for a place to relax and recharge.

Nice clean room, plenty of pillow selection, staff friendly, good amenities

We overnighted in a Luxe Studio room, which was very nicely done. High ceilings feature, as well as a very modern bathroom, a comfortable king size bed, and access to a private sitting area adjacent to the room. The only downside is that there are no windows in the room, though the glass wall leading into the sitting area (which is blacked out from the outside) provides some natural light. Parking is at the back of the property. It has a small restaurant, but it was not open on the evening we stayed. Not an issue as there are several pubs within a short walk of the Ellen.

Great hotel, great service and great food! Everything to love about this little hotel in regional SA. They pay attention to detail and the service is second to none!

A good reason to visit Port Pirie Our stay was more than perfect the moment we walked through the door. The staff, the check in, the room, the dinner, the service staff, the beds, the shower, the breakfast, the staff, the attention to detail, the checkout!! EVERYTHING WAS FABULOUS!! I cannot stress hor excellent this property is…

Very clean, spacious and staff were friendly

A welcome respite on a long road trip Bathrobes. And good ones on a regional run what a treat. I left Ellen Hotel feeling rested. Modern rooms, improved air conditioning since the last time I stayed. Dark and quiet for a good night sleep. Service friendly, the lady who served served me at breakfast made me want to linger alas I had to move on for work.
