Booked this hotel to break up our trip from Brissie to Sydney. Couldn’t really fault it! We were upgraded to a room with a view of the water. Room was spacious and clean. I loved their full size toiletries. Food at the restaurant was good and it came with free parking. Only thing is we wished the deck closer to the water that had fairy lights was open . Would’ve been a perfect place to have some cocktails at the end of the day watching the sun go down.

Very tired motel needs a good renovation. Beds were comfy though. Ask for a room off the street it’s situated on a busy noisy road and the rooms are far from double glazed glass. Extremely rude lady on reception on arrival was not welcoming at all.

We love this hotel, it's super easy for us to come with our camper trailer and find space for it. We always stay in the ground level rooms that exit out onto the waterfront. It's just a short 2 minute walk to the Westport Club (nextdoor) and a short walk into town to all the other restaurants and bars. We have had room service once which was very good.

The Staff were great. It was lovely to get a up grade. The room was a little tired but great view:-) The pool was so good. It was lovely & refreshing, not cold. The restaurant looked great but did not eat. We did have a drink & sat outside the pool area and looked at the view. The walk along the water to town was beautiful too. We got it for a good price $165 a night. Was totally worth it:-)

The staff performed their duties adequately, but lacked in customer service and connection.
There was a lack of information from staff at check-in about the hotel's offerings, and the rooms felt outdated with dirty carpets and marked walls.
The bathrooms were in need of renovation, and the outdated practice of rolling up towels on the bed was observed.
The overall interior of the hotel could use an upgrade.
Reception staff appeared too relaxed, focusing on socialising with each other rather than attending to guests.
Unfortunately, the hotel internet was unreliable.
Given the premium charges, the overall experience was disappointing.

Overall the accomodation was good, reflecting the price point. I would suggest that small things such as the toilet button, sliding door and bed be maintained to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Room did not look like the picture booked online. View was the roof and it had a horrible old musty smell - my son’s dust allergies were playing up whilst we were there. Little blue tiles in the pool were missing and kids playing with them as they were coming loose and floating around. Was looking forward to breakfast downstairs but the fire alarm went off as someone burnt toast in the restaurant so we missed out.

Worst motel room we have ever stayed in for over 30 years. Never ever stay here again. Room outdated, dirty, noisy, falling apart, plumbing in bathroom noisy and unsafe when turning on hot water. Pillows and bedspread stained. Bedside table not wiped and had who knows what splattered all over it. Shower curtain stained. Tiles cracked and unsafe. Neighbours children able to knock on door adjoining room? Bed base and mattress old and uncomfortable.
