We stayed here for 4 days, booked a WEEK IN ADVANCE, OUR FRIEND IN PORT BLAIR WENT, saw the room first and then paid an advance to book the room. We were received well by Mr. Jonas and miss Sanjana, with a welcome drink. Both were very helpful and smiling throughout our stay. The room was spacious , 6 chairs, 2 center tables , hot water kettle, tea coffee packs, drinking water was supplied in glass bottles , this is a very good initiative. I was a resident of port Blair for few years , now went as a tourist, so i understand the acute shortage of water in the island. When we checked in it was 3pm , well past the restaurant timings, but the staff were kind to cook some phulkas and dhal for us. The restaurant staff were very helpful, everyone, can’t recollect the names of all, but thank uuuuuuuu. Complimentary breakfast every morning, we had this for 4 days, omlettee was very tasty, remaining veg there was choice, Here i would like to mention that idlis were not fresh and soft, one day i had to tell them to reheat the idlis , still they were hard and tasteless. When the rooms are full and many tourists the complimentary breakfast is good, but the fate of idli was the same. The owner being tamilian please look into this, and set it right. When we travel we prefer idli sambar a safe breakfast. There was a newly opened roof top restaurant, with live music, tried it on a Wednesday , invited friends for dinner, oh that was a mistake, very poor menu, most of the snacks mentioned were not available, then the waiters didn’t know what the dish was , not at all trained Forget the food, the music was k, we requested for some hindi hits of 90 s , it was not presented . A lot of improvement for this roof top place is needed.
