The place is very dirty, the Manager/Owner very rude. There was no water and no means were made for us, we were just told water is available from 10pm to 6am. Single bed mattresses not even a 10 year old will sleep on them. We booked for 3 bedrooms but were only given 2 and promised a voucher to make up for the other room though we have fully paid and that voucher is only usable during the week. We were an hour late since we were coming from far and the way Paul shouted at me you would swear I were his 3 yr old. We asked for dinner setup table of which they did but on arrival no one was there to welcome us at the dinner table to serve us as a result we decided to go and eat somewhere that is when Paul came after us offering dessert. The place is at the right place with beautiful views but with bad management

I have reached out on a Saturday evening for an urgent Booking due to a Break Up with my boyfriend and I had no place to stay. The owner itself called me back the same evening telling me that I am welcome and will make all possible to support me in this situation. The next day I even got a little whats app with a welcome text. When I arrived felt welcome straight away and was impressed about the clean and stylish restaurant, terrace and the beautiful view. The owner introduced me to his daughter and son, who are also helping in the hotel and last but not least to his wife. I even got a shoulder and opportunities to reach out for a talk or help whenever needed. Wow. This is a real authentic family driften hotel with a big passion of hosting. And on top of that the room is super clean and welcoming, even a little kitchen is available with coffee & tea & big fridge. The bathroom is super clean and the bed super cozy. Prepared water to drink was always available too, which is not usual in Port Alfred. The city center, marine and beach is all reachable inbetween 5-10min drive. I planned to stay for 5 days, I decided today to stay for 2 weeks :) Writing this review already now, knowing my good experience will not change - will maybe even get better the moment the wind calms down and I can enjoy the outdoor pool :)
