Top location in the center of the city. Kind and friendly stuff, good food. Transfer from the parking to the hotel works good. Driving with a boat to the beach on the small island is something special. Porec is "must to visit" and Valamar is always on the top of my hotel list.

Just back from a fantastic week at this beautiful hotel .Slight issue on arrival with our room not having a balcony we were promised by EasyJet but quickly rectified by lady on reception upgrading us to a suite which was perfect! Amazing breakfast from 7-11 am consisting of fry ups , friuts , deli counter and more accompanied by Prosecco this was followed by complimentary brunch from 11am-1pm again great selection accompanied by Prosecco! Marina outside is a hive of activity with various boats offering a selection of trips and activities, Rovinj is definitely worth a visit . Although the hotel does not have a beach it does offer a regular boat shuttle which takes 5 mins to get to the small island which has a sister hotel where you can use amenities such as bathing,swimming and walks around the island, all at no extra cost Porec itself is a lovely town and offers l excellent restaurants bars and great shopping and some beautiful coastal walks. Great weeks holiday made all the better by the hotel and their fantastic staff would definitely recommend Forgot to mention hotel offers complimentary snacks and more Prosecco! from 5-6 pm

This is our second stay and we absolutely love it, with breakfast and brunch having extensive choice and good quality food which was very well presented. The staff are attentive and impeccably presented - the food and beverage team are wonderful and the chef produces good food daily. You see the management team about and they interact with guests. Looking forward to our next stay as the location cannot be beaten

STRUTTURA VERAMENTE BELLA, SITUATA NEL CENTRO DI PARENZO FRONTE MARE. FORMIDABILE. COLAZIONE,BRUNCH E LUNCH INCLUSI NEL PREZZO. PARCHEGGIO A SOLI 5 EURO CON SERVIZIO NAVETTA. OTTIMO IL SERVIZIO ALLE CAMERE. CHE DIRE. TUTTO PERFETTO !!!!

I fully agree with all the previous positive comments. Great position, amazing food and staff and lovely to be able to use the island. Now the negatives, we booked a wonderful room in the Villa Nicoletta which is part of the hotel and just up the road. We were amazed at the beautiful big room (no. 12) balcony and view. However, it’s right next door to a very noisy bar! We were so close I think my husband could have put his arm out of the window and pick up a drink! It also had multi coloured strobe lights. The receptionist was empathetic, gaily telling us that they’re always getting complaints about the noise! They moved us to a much smaller suite right next door to the hotel’s air conditioning unit so we couldn’t open our bedroom doors. What a huge disappointment, they should say on the website that it can be noisy so folk can make an informed choice. We were told that we might have to pay for the ‘upgrade’ as we booked so early the room cost had gone up, ridiculous and luckily we didn’t pay. The poor receptionist kept having to ask her manager who was hiding in a back office, it would have been nice if he had come to speak to us himself given the circumstances!

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting in the heart of Poreč old town. What really made it for us is the amazing breakfast and brunch. All the food is absolutely delicious and it is very well thought through. It feels as though live goes in to their food. The selection is to die for and everything I tasted was absolutely delicious. The restaurant staff are lovely and attentive and they all work very hard. We were always greeted with a smile, they are a credit to the hotel. We love that we can use the hotel boat and access the island. This was particularly special to us and was the highlight of our trip. Poreč itself is simply stunning and it is on our list as one of our favourite places now. Thank you Valamar Riviera for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is located in a beautiful location in the center of Poreč. The rooms are very clean. The staff at the reception gave us all the necessary information. The waiters and chefs are very friendly and helpful.Phenomenal buffet, a large selection of local foods.

We stayed there for four nights and were delighted by all the staff and fantastic breakfast and their brunch/lunch from 11-13 O'clock. The only slight drawback is that there is no beach in front of the hotel, but you can use for free facilities provided by a sister hotel on St. Nicolas Island, reachable in 10 minutes by boat. Actually, we liked that part of our stay - to take a boat to St. Nicholas. In front of a hotel, there is a departure point to ferry to Venezia and other locations.

Wow did this place blow our expectations out of the water in such a great way! Wow wow wow!! We missed breakfast to catch a ferry to Venice and they pre packed a breakfast for us! They went above and beyond even when we didn’t ask. Super clean. Nice heat lamps in the bathroom and all the little extras to make you feel like you are being spoiled. 10 out of 10!!!
