"We had a nice time at Talbot House. The big plus is the historic value of the place, as we visited the area to learn more about WWI. So amazing to be able to explore the house and talk to the volunteer working here. Other things we liked were the friendly service and breakfast. Also big plus we could bring our dog, staying in the garden house. With the cold whilst we were there, not having central heating was a bit of a struggle as the aircon is only on during the afternoon/evening and harder to set to a consistent temperature. Also the shared bathroom’s window couldn’t be closed, so absolutely freezing to go to. Last, our room was on the small side and felt a bit cramped especially with our dog. But overall good value for money."

"Um hotel relaxante e com pessoal de pessoas bonitas Robin era muito útil e flexível quando reservava e arranjou um garagem para o nosso pequeno scooter, uma vez que só estava disponível estacionamento público. A reserva foi um processo fácil e a nossa sala estava limpa e confortável. Todos OS dias tivemos UMA refeição no restaurante e a comida era boa com serviço sem costura por um pessoal feliz e feliz. Eles têm UMA boa seleção de cervejas. Deve dizer que é UMA excelente escolha de comida buffet.A reserva era um processo rápido, SEM ser apressada.Nossa Sala Olhou para a praça principal e para a estrada, MAS não nos perturbou com nenhum ruído.De certeza que vamos usar este hotel novamente. "Excellent stay and location. The rooms are well-appointed and have air conditioning which was nice. We enjoyed the "refined" dinner option one evening and it was a fabulous. Terrific service by the owners and Victoria (their daughter's name if I remember correctly). The pool was nice and refreshing too. Our only regret was that we didn't plan on staying longer. Next time! Thank you for a great stay."
