Hotel de Bordeaux

We stayed here for a two night visit and loved the warm welcome. All the communication before our visit was fantastic. Great location and lovely decor and the food was amazing. We have eaten lunch here before and it was wonderful to have dinner. Highly recommend this hotel and it’s restaurant. Pons is such a pretty town as well.

The team at the hotel told us they had lost their Michelin star due to bad Tripadvisor reviews. Well I don’t know where those reviewers ate but it certainly wasn’t here! We have just had the most exquisite dinner in every way, I had the menu Gourmand and I can only say it’s one of the best I’ve had and I’ve had a few..from the delicious little Jerusalem artichoke veloute as amuse Bouche to the gorgeous trio of desserts creme brûlée grapefruit with slivers of meringue and a melting pear sorbet.. my husband had wonderful oysters and langoustines..cannot recommend these charming people and their exquisite food highly enough! In a fabulous setting just down the road from 11/12th century ramparts witu a delightful courtyard sadly a little chilly but a lovely view to go with dinner! Charming rooms as well pet friendly simple yet elegant.. we will be coming back on the return leg and on the next trip!

We stopped off at this fabulous hotel 🏨 on our travels down to the south of France. What can I say. The rooms were very tastefully decorate and spacious - they looked brand new. The bed was comfortable. Great view from our room. Breakfast in the morning had a great selection of continental item, from fresh fruit to yoghurt, to fresh croissants and bred to a great selection of cereal. Great value for the price. Would highly recommend
