Residenza Madonna

Wonderful place — clean, comfortable, quiet, renovated, modern. The place is two blocks from the train station (Pompeii City - not Scavi!) so we could skip the taxi. The apar**ent is close to the main restaurant streets but not at the main street — which gave us the silence we needed for a great night of sleep. Breakfast is at a cafe nearby (one block) serving one hot beverage and pastry, which is the usual in Italy (we didn’t find any place serving the egg-bacon-frutis-granola breakfast so we joined the locals!) The ruins were a 20-minute walk from the apar**ent. Communication with host was always quick and efficient. Thank you, Teresa!!

Everything was perfect, Teresa and his father were wonderful.I recommended highly,the best in town!

The residence has a nice modern look and feel, situated at not even a five minute walk from the main city square. Spic and span clean with good air-conditioning. The landlady sends very clear access instructions so you really shouldn’t have any trouble checking in. Definitely recommended.

Clean, quiet, relaxing, in the middle of Pompeii’s center . Excellent restaurants nearby.

Walkable distance from train station and archeological site. Close to city centre, shopping and restaurants. The host recommended a really great pizzeria. Room was newly renovated with all the modern conveniences. Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and charm on the city.

The owners, staff, and condition of the property are all wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. I wasn't really looking forward to 9 days in Pompei, but it was great, in part because of owner Teresa and her lovely staff and family!

Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, and prompt service if there were any concerns. Helpful very pleasant host. Very easy walk to ruins ; as well as from the train station. Excellent .

Our stay was amazing , the property was immaculate and modern , our room could be cleaned daily but it was our choice to have it cleaned every other day . Theresa the owner was lovely and advised us on restaurants, train times and anything else we needed to know . The hotel is a very short walk to the town square and the centre of Pompei , 5 minutes at the most . We would recommend this hotel to all , if you are looking for a place with a lovely a**osphere , friendly staff and immaculate at a great price then this is your place .We would go back again for sure .

The en-suite room was wonderful, bright, clean, airy and spacious with a lovely little, private sun terrace where you can unwind and enjoy a drink after a day sight seeing. The room was well equipped with tea coffee and water (which is free) blankets, soaps and shower gels. And it was nice to have free Wi-Fi and Netflix as an alternative. Teresa (the host) was wonderful, super helpful with plenty of good advice about different places to eat in and visit. She was fluent in English which made communicating very easy. She even contacted us before we landed in Italy, to make sure we made our way without difficulty to the apar**ent and gained access easily, she even was able to let us check in early on this occasion which was great so we could drop off our baggage and explore. The apar**ent is in a good location, in a quiet side street, yet only 2 minutes from the town square and a variety of good restaurants, bars and gelato parlours. It is close to the train station, public transport was very reasonably priced and easy to use, the ruins were only 10 minutes walk away and the supermarket 20 minutes. We would not hesitate to come back and stay and would highly recommend the accommodation and host both were outstanding and made our holiday very enjoyable and memorable - thank you so much Teresa for a wonderful stay.
