Check in and out within 2 hours. What a creepy place, the dark slate tiles, rock art, this gave us the shivers. We did not even want to touch anything, it felt like something creepy is going to land on you anytime. The bed felt uncomfortable. On the outside it was dirty and dusty with lots of noise from staff and local people hanging around, after we requested another room we decided to leave. Looking into the restaurant on our way out we, wonder what could be served from it, luckily, we never got the change to put it to the test. Will never visit again, not our type of place.

No standby electricity during load shedding. This was not communicated when making the booking. TV very tedious to understand how it works. No normal programs. When enquire about it the following day when checking out, I was told that I should have contacted reception for assistance. This information should be communicated before or at least on arrival.

Great accommodation, friendly service and really competitive rates. I showed the photos of our room and the venue to our client on Polokwane who was so impressed that he took down the details for himself, he wanted to book a getaway for his family.

Driving through Polokwane we did not expect to find behind the gate this hotel. It has a pleasant atmosphere, and the room was more than sufficient and clean, the staff friendly and helpfull. Breakfast offered a lot, but not what we actually wanted: fresh yoghurt with granola and fresh fruit. The omelette which we took instead was okay.

We were tired of Pretoria, we needed a quiet space outside and this place was perfect. Very quiet and rustic design, had a good chill. The good thing is the location, it feels like you are in nature far away from the city but the Mall is just around few kms away.

Outstanding venue with excellent accommodation and professional service. Room was well equipped with comfortable bed and all required facilities. I recommend 61 on Ireland wholeheartedly and look forward to staying there again.

I stayed overnight at 61 , upon arrival I was shown around , taken care of . Almost doted on , then left in peace and checked on once or twice . The service , and level of respect and care was outstanding . Beautiful food, relaxing and will definitely be back

Excellent facility. Always pristine and neat and the manager goes the extra mile to make one comfortable. Will keep supporting them. Breakfast is good and the poolside bar is an excellent add on. Thank you

It was my first time staying at 61 on Ireland and i was not disappointed at all! In a world where we make decisions based on ratings and reviews, when reading up on this place, i decided to give them a try and i can safely say that i have found a place to call "home" when i am travelling in Polokwane. Location is great as i could get to the gym as well as for a run! Amenities also comfortable and I could do a bit of work admin with no issues!
