Hotel Cabot Romantic - Adults Only

We have just returned (August 2024), from a lovely week spent at the Cabot Romantic hotel. I’ll break down our impressions around a range of areas that normally influence travellers. Check-in: allowed us to access the room a few hours early. The process was speedy and we were warmly welcomed by Maria who was very helpful throughout our stay. Also I must mention Bamba who was so thoughtful and helpful booking taxis, giving advice, always with a smile. Nothing was ever too much bother. Check out- we were not leaving until late afternoon and were delighted to be accommodated with a guest shower room after checking out. This was another example of staff going the extra mile (thanks Maria !) Bar food and drinks: very good quality and very reasonably priced. Was often popular with non- guests which is a good sign. We were very well looked after by Ruben and must pay a special mention to Pedro who had that extra eye to detail to make the experience even more pleasant, and it felt more in common with a 4 star hotel. The restaurant: we only had breakfast (excellent selection of food and great staff) ,as we had wanted the nightly visits to top restaurants to be a big part of our experience. We recommend : Illa D’Or, Restaurant Iru, Stay, and the Himilaya. Booking advisable. For a more immediate culinary delight the are 3 lovely bistros as you come out of the hotel and turn left. Supermarkets are a 3 minute walk. The beach is a 30 second stroll! Sunbeds available all day - 2 plus parasol for €20. The Room: we took the advice of some previous guest and upgraded to a sea view. Wow, it really made our holiday, having a large veranda to have a drink on and watch the activity nightly. The rooms are large , cleaned daily and have perfect Air Con. The staff make this hotel and whilst it shows signs of being there a long time , I was more engaged with our views rather than any minor aesthetic observations. Book this hotel. You’ll love how close it is to everything and it will be a stress free holiday in the friendliest of resorts. Another extra bonus was accessing the facilities of its sister hotel the Cabot Pollensa Spa with nightly entertainment and a great pool environment with a friendly family atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Well done Team Cabot Romantic.

We arrived at a little after midnight, the gentleman at reception asked our names and our passports so we handed them over, he didn’t engage in any conversation while he was taking photographs of the passports and then filled his forms, now most hotels I’ve stayed at keep your passport and return it in the morning, oh no not this man, he took ages and we just wanted to go to bed. Anyway we made our way to the room, now the lift says it fits 5 people, well I wouldn’t like to be in it with 5 others, it’s very small and dark.The rooms are dated but a decent size and the beds were comfy, the bathroom is small and so is the shower ( a word of warning the shower floor is quite slippery) I kept getting my arm caught on the door of the bathroom as you have to step around it to close it, breakfast was ok mostly the same things every morning but there was something for everyone, most of the staff are very pleasant and helpful, the location is lovely just opposite the beach and about 10 minutes down to the town, all in all we had a lovely holiday in Puerto Pollensa, but I don’t think I’d go back to this hotel.

It’s clean and a nice aesthetic. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Bedrooms freshly painted and shower great but mattress memory foam and very soft (caused back pain). Sadly major issue was inability to use balcony as workers addressing “pigeon issues” in adjacent building. Meaning workers outside our bedroom window from first thing (ie noise and lack of privacy). They look to be doing a great job and should make a big difference when it’s complete. The other thing was the hotel was full of middle aged male cyclists so not quite the romantic couples vibe we had expected (some here for Ironman but not all). Appreciate this is very much a cyclist resort though

We went as two couples and were allocated room 226, a side elevation room but fortunately for us , the first in the row and nearest the front of the hotel hence we had a view of the beach without paying extra for the front facing rooms , the other couple had the same room on the opposite side of the building. I have no criticism of the hotel or its staff , the rooms were spotlessly cleaned each day and the staff are all so friendly. The rooms are small, and the bathrooms and showers are very small indeed but functional. We went on a B&B basis and the breakfast was decent, although stay clear of the cooked food as it’s not what you would get at home and is of a poor quality , however the cold offerings are very good with plenty of choice. In short, we would return to this hotel as it gives good value for money, however, on speaking with other’s who had booked half board, we were told the offering's for dinner were of a very poor standard , but we have no experience of this being on a B&B basis.

Great location , spotlessly clean , friendly staff . Enjoyable experience at this hotel Location is right on beach so easy to pop back for lunch . You get 10 percent discount off meals at hotel ,I only had lunch but was lovely . Great friendly bar staff fast service .and drinks reasonably priced . Good cocktails Lovely setting for a restaurant overlooking beach Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed daily if required . The rooms are spotless Lovely reception staff who look Up and smile and acknowledge you every day Hotel small with a really nice feel to it . I was a solo traveller and felt very comfortable there . Usually stay other end of the resort but I wanted to be close to the beach . I will definitely return to this hotel Fabulous balconies at front of hotel I’ll Try for one of these next time

We have been coming to pollensa for many years, and August 2023 was the first time we had stayed in Hotel Romantic. When we arrived we were greeted and given our room key by a friendly receptionist. We were in room 233 and it had all we needed . There is plenty of storage in the room and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was small as well as the shower but it did the job. The balcony was on the side of the hotel with a side view of the sea which was lovely. The staff were always friendly and always helpful when we had a question. We've just booked to come again at the end of July beginning of August as we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from a week at the Romantic Hotel, we have lost count of how many times we have stayed in this hotel over the last 30 years or so. The room we had was on the side of the hotel and we found it to be more than adequate, the air con and shower were excellent (the shower could be a little snug if you are on the big side). We stayed on a half board basis and there was plenty of choice but we did eat out a couple of times at our friends restaurant the Sol Y Mar which is just around the corner, well worth a visit. The beach is fantastic and very clean, but beware there have been a few instances of people getting stung by jelly fish, you just need to be careful and keep your eyes open. Unfortunately Majorca suffered the week before we went with several days of rain this seems to have resulted in the "mossies" being "hungry" much to our downfall, so be prepared, something we will do next year as we have never really been affected like this before. Some previous reviews have mentioned the pigeon issue, we would like to report it has considerably improved over last year with very few pigeons around. Looking to return next year probably a little later in the year maybe mid to end of September.

This was our 12th visit since 2013 and as always we had a great stay here. We are regular returners and just love this hotel for its wonderful position directly opposite Tamarells beach and with only a short 15/20 minutes flat walk along the promenade into the town. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the bedrooms are more than adequate with excellent air conditioning. The staff do a great job in ensuring all is ok and you have to remember this is only a 3* hotel but the service far exceeds that rating. We stay on a B&B basis where the breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold foods. We prefer to dine out in the evenings as there is a large choice of very good restaurants local to the hotel or just a short walk away in town. Shout outs to Antonia on reception and dear Ana in the bar who we have known both for many years. Not forgetting Rafael, Pedro, Reuben & Micaela also on the bar, you are all great. Well done again Cabot Romantic and we have already booked to return in 2025.

We had a sea view room great location very quite straight across from the beach ⛱️ perfect spot Breakfast included which waz fresh definitely use this place again Bed was comfy room completely big enough bathroom a tad small but who cares your on holidays 😴
