Hotel Au Chapon Fin

Wonderful location and friendly and helpful staff, but very poor quality room and furnishings. Bathroom was Heath Robinson arrangement at best. Breakfast was very disappointing with limited food and not replaced when things ran out.

An old-style French hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are what you expect at this price range, all ok. The best thing about the hotel is that it is right on the main square of Poitiers. Altogether a very pleasant stay of three nights in winter,

Check-in was OK and we think we understood everything, because receptionist only spoke French. No information in writing at reception or in rooms. Our room was on 2nd floor at the side of the hotel. Décor was a little tired and curtains did not close easily, but it was clean and bright. For 2 people we only had one towel, not very big. There was no hairdryer in the room, and the shower was broken (had to be held because the bracket was loose and shower head leaked). The floor got very wet because of this and we had to be careful not to slip on the water. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment . When we checked-out there was no-one on reception so we just left the keys. Overall the hotel was OK for the price and location, but it was a little noisy at night because of people gathered in the square in front of the hotel. Also the lift was very small and could only fit one person plus a holdall. Could be very good place to stay with some improvements and a friendlier reception

L'hotel est très bien placé à Poitiers à côté de l'hôtel de ville, en dehors de ça l'hotel est resté figé dans les années 70 . Hotel vieillot, literie pas très confortable, lavabo bouché , et pour prendre une douche il faut attendre lentement que le filet d'eau se erécgauffe...

Première nui dans une chambre bruyante a cause d'un double vitrage défaillant, mais après en avoir fait part au réceptionniste, il nous a changé de chambre sans soucis et avec une grande rapidité. Très professionnel. C'était la deuxième fois que nous venions, et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

la chambre n'etait pas agréable du tout ,,,en effet pas d'eau chaude ,la baignoire bouchée ,la chambre pas renovée ,cette chambre n aurait pas du etre mise à disposition de la clientèle ,,,c etait décevant au regard des autres chambres qui semblaient correctes

Agréable petit hôtel, directement dans le centre, proche des bistrots et cafés, bars. Sympa avec les étudiants autour, mais un peu bruyants à la fin du jour. Le service perfect, chaleureux. Le petit parking dans la cour, clos pendant la nuit. La maison de caractère a besoin d‘un „rafraîchissement“, mais pour le prix de 61€ pour une nuit avec 2 personnes, c‘est correct ! Merci.

Hôtel très bien situé en plein centre ville, personnel accueillant cependant hôtel très vétuste mais propre Quelques bémols : beaucoup de bruit lié à la place et clients peu respectueux des autres( l hôtel n y peut rien), juste un conseil à éviter en période de canicule comme maintenant pas de clim
