It's always relaxing to stay at Whalers Cove. Listening to the ocean is very soothing and I sleep very well. We saw whales from our lanai! Anytime we needed anything, Marianne and her staff were right there with whatever we needed. We were also blocks from great restaurants like 1849 Eating House and Merriman's.

Loved staying here. Room was right above the pool and had a great view of the ocean. Rooms were clean, amenities in-room were good, and path to the cove was right at the end of the parking lot. Walking distance to shopping, food, restaurants. Will definitely return.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Whalers Cove. The place is amazingly perfect! Unit 125 is the perfect unit. I stayed there 10 years ago and fell in love. 10 years later this place still has my heart ❤️ We love the peaceful tranquility. The views are amazing. Listening to the waves, watching the beautiful sunrise and sunsets, seeing Sea Turtles and Dolphins swim by.....it was all so perfect. The parking, unit access, and the staff are all wonderful! We enjoyed our conversations with everyone. Alexis & Marianne are truly amazing. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The pool was closed for a couple of days due to maintenance and Marianne was so kind to offer us a pool pass to another resort. Although we enjoyed their pool, it was another testament to how much we love Whalers Cove verses other large resorts. It feels like home away from home. We are planning to come back every year!

Wonderful time on Kauai. We loved the location and condo 117 is a perfect location on the property - near the pool and ground floor so lots of space to walk outside and take in the scenery. A short walk to enter the cove and snorkel, too. The staff were excellent and helped us get oriented quickly. I was nervous about not having A/C but the cool breeze and dans was more than adequate. We hope to return!

Stayed in condo 122. Super clean, cute decorations, quiet and great view! Friendly front desk staff gave us loaner beach chairs, snorkels, fins for our stay. Master bath is huge! Only complaint was unit was too hot/humid for sleeping some nights even with windows/screened doors open and all fans on when we were there since no a/c, but on cooler evenings breeze was ok.

Simply stunning ! Exceptional accommodation (Unit 210 beside pool) is well looked after, very comfortable - clear instructions for how to make the best of time here. Staff on reception were great and super helpful with queries / requests - able to loan a few snorkels and beach chairs etc - which no-one brings on the plane Pool is a little small but with so much going on locally, that is no problem. Good beach and food locations within walking distance. Really recommend and don't think you'll be disappointed !

Whalers Cove's location has terrific views and is also peaceful and quiet. Marianne and staff are super helpful. They provided us with various lodging options and were all very helpful with any questions we had...and they always seemed to have a smile on their faces!! We enjoyed our two weeks stay, and we will definitely consider Whalers Cove in the future if our future plans take us to Kauai.

I recently stayed at the Oceanfront Retreat for the second time, and it was a fantastic experience once again. The sea-facing condo offered magnificent views of the ocean, providing a stunning backdrop to our stay. The location is secluded and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The condo itself was very spacious, providing plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the serene environment. One of the highlights was the ability to stargaze from the lanai at night, which added a magical touch to our evenings. Additionally, we enjoyed watching the birds in the nearby trees during the day, adding to the peaceful and nature-filled ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to escape and enjoy some peace and tranquility by the sea. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

We didn't get one last night but this was from the night before. Show quoted text We had an amazing time. We are going to miss the sound of the ocean so much. We loved the condo. The peaceful atmosphere was key for us. We like quiet and peace. The evenings were quiet, noise from other guests was never an issue. The pool was never crowded in the day or evening when we went. We found our way to Baby Beach, so nice and so close. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ida knew who I was as soon as I walked in for check in! Access to Beach chairs and towels were a plus. We know that we want to come back to Kuai one day and Whalers Cove would be our choice! Thanks again!! Jen
