La Belle Folie

This is a very cool camping with some special rooms. Maybe you can call it glamping. The rooms are designed by Nantes University architect students. And there will be more! All rooms are cool and different. We stayed in the spiderweb. That is a house with three rooms. Good when it is sun, but bad when it rains. I missed hooks in the small room for clothes and that you only can wash your hands in the main room. Main room is large with a lot of space in x, y and z. Breakfast is ok, a bit boring. Croissant, baguette, a small yoghurt and coffee. The vibe is really nice in this place. But we had a bad stay anyway. I will mention 2 things here. First night, our fire alarm went off (false alarm). The fire alarm is of course in the ceiling, almost 4 meters up. So it took some time to figure out how to turn it off. Luckily we had earplugs with us as it was very loud (as it should be). We managed with hangers and a side table to turn it off. It turned on again after 90 minutes….Then we couldn’t sleep anymore. The staff bought new alarms for the next night and we got a glass of wine. Our day after was though destroyed, as we were very tired. Our daughter could not really relax the night after either, as she was so nervous. Was a glass of wine enough for that? When you arrive they ask for the slots when you want to enjoy the nordic bath. Our last night we had booked it 18.00. When we came there, there were other people in it. It turns out that they were late and therefor we had to wait….what?? Should I wait because others have been late?? Yes, that was according to them, the best way to solve this. So instead of asking the people in the tub to leave, me and my daughter should wait for 20 minutes. In rain and 16 degC…in swimsuit and a towel, as no bathrobes are offered. We that didn’t do anything wrong. Not the right way to handle this according to me. Beer was served for making that up, after I complained. So, I have a hard time to decide what rating I should put. We did not have a good stay. We didn’t sleep well and ran into many small strange things. But it is a cool place with nice designed rooms. A lot of cool people that creates a relaxed vibe. I would recommend people to go here, but don’t have too high expectations.

La Belle Folie a été le lieu idéal pour notre mariage. L'équipe a été très accueillante et disponible tout au long de la préparation. Le jour J, tout s'est déroulé à merveille. Le lieu est magnifique, le repas délicieux et l'ambiance festive. Nous avons passé une journée inoubliable, entourés de nos proches. Nous recommandons vivement La Belle Folie à tous les couples qui souhaitent se marier dans un lieu unique et convivial.

Nous avons réservé la cabane « La branchée » au mois de novembre. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux par des hôtes aimables, souriants, et très arrangeants. La cabane était bien isolée, propre, spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Le repas était copieux et délicieux de même pour le petit déjeuner. Nous sommes passés par le bain nordique mis à notre disposition le soir, qui était top et bien chauffé. Nous sommes repartis le lendemain bien reposés ! On recommande sans hésiter 😉

Cadre original dans une serre posée dans la forêt. Une cuisine simple saine et savoureuse qui met à l'honneur les producteurs locaux de produits bien élevés. Une belle expérience. Fortement recommandé. Bien placé sur la route de Carnac. Réservez.

Je recommande ce lieu atypique, dépaysant et chaleureux. La formule en mini refuge est adaptée pour 2, le lieu est bien organisé et la restauration excellente. Vraiment, spéciale recommandation pour le gérant sur place, très à l’écoute et très chaleureux.

Top endroit! Un endroit original avec des proprios super sympas et aux petits soins. Les sanitaires communs sont propres, duvet un peu cher à la location mais bien pratique avec les nuits fraîches! Dormir dans le hamac à été une bonne expérience que je retenterai sans problèmes!!
