It is an amazing resort with friendly staff. The activities planned every day were good and fun to participate in. The food buffet is very well and variable. I loved the trapeze show and Dani was amazing!

**Terrible Experience at Viva Maya Wyndham- Avoid at All Costs!** I recently stayed at Viva Maya Wyndham and was extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this so-called "all-inclusive" hotel did not live up to its promises. Firstly, there was no hot water throughout my stay, making showers an unpleasant ordeal. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was malfunctioning, leaving the room uncomfortably hot. One night, there was a complete power outage, and the hotel staff offered no assistance or apologies. Speaking of the staff, they were consistently rude and unhelpful. Any request for assistance was met with hostility and indifference, which added to the overall frustration of the stay. Additionally, the shower drain was clogged, causing water to back up and create an unhygienic situation. Despite multiple complaints, this issue was never addressed. Overall, my experience at Viva Maya Wyndham was awful. The lack of basic amenities, poor customer service, and numerous maintenance issues make it clear that this hotel is not worth your time or money. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for accommodation.

The trip was good. The beach was not the greatest with seaweed you had to walk through to get to the water. To help with my little one I went to the beach next door that had a tractor keeping the seaweed cleared off their beach. When checking in they don’t tell you that you much turn on all you room keys, towel keys and wristbands when checking out, and it must be done before you can leave the resort. The food was alright different theme each night but seemed like the same food just one or two things different. Was nice when there an issue the front desk and security took care of it right away. Over all was a good family vacation

Everything was excellent. From first moment we arrived, till last day things went wonderful. Great beach, pool area. Food was very good. It was our 4th time there in last 2 years, and can honestly say alredy thinking to come back soon. Keep up a good job, ...

Everything was awesome. The only thing to suggest is that the buffet menu be a little more diverse each day. I think towards the end of our 6th day, it changed a bit. Other than that, the staff was awesome. The other negative thing and not so bad, was the pressing of the hotel chain to view a presentation.

The resort was clean and the staff were incredible! I have celiac disease and the staff were very careful with preparing my food and I didn't get sick. The only downside is that you should expect a timeshare presentation. Members get many extra benefits that regular travellers don't within the resort.

I loved the trapeze. I’ve never seen one at any other hotel. Overall, the food was very good but the breakfast could be better.

Had a great trip to Mexico, hotel was clean, pools were great. Not all the entertainment was for me but lots of variety for everyone, games, activities, shows and music. My real negative with the Viva Maya was with the staff. Check in was slow 2 desks working, lots of paperwork and questions. Sadly I had an awful interaction with 2 of the staff Antonio and Meses. I really needed assistance one afternoon both were really unhelpful and rude. Antonio was threw his arms up at me and Meses told me in Spanish to speak Spanish to him. In an international hotel and resort to be told to speak Spanish is unacceptable. People from around the world were staying in this hotel, Meses was just down right rude. However Carolina and her team at guest services swooped in and helped me and within minutes it was sorted! Thank you Carolina, much appreciated. Buffet restaurant was disappointing to be honest, similar food each night. Drinks machine unreliable.
