Wow!! We booked 7 nights at the Mynd hotel in lanzarote and what an amazing place. As soon as we walked in staff were willing to help, we was also given a welcome drink and told where our room was located. We had a connecting room with our children 11 & 14 and my brother in law and his 2 children stayed in a room on the next floor. The rooms are immaculate, so clean and with a ceiling fan which we used most of the time. Beds were big and comfy, we all slept so well. Housekeeping made our beds daily, emptied the rubbish and replaced towels when needed. They also have a small airer outside to dry costumes and towels. We went half board and used the buffet all but one evening and the food was great, plenty of choice for kids and adults. Lovely salads, breads and fruit. Choice of drinks and breakfast was just as nice. In the day you can go to the buffet or use the snack bar by the pool, which we used most of the time. The kids pools are amazing, safe enough for them to go off and play also and the running mat entertained them daily to the point they was waiting for staff to bring it out. The kids entertainment was okay, mostly for younger children however a big shout out to victor, my son and my brother in laws kids loved him. Victor has great energy and all of us were sad to say goodbye to him, what a asset to Mynd he is. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, it was really such a lovely place to go and we will really miss it. My son has already asked if we can go back. Also if you are a couple they have a separate pool and area so children don’t disturb those who want peace and quiet. This hotel really has thought about it all and I’m so glad we booked 7 nights here. Even the other parents were chatty and lovely. It’s also a short 10 minute walk to the beach and seafront which has lots of restaurants and shops which our kids loved. Definitely not one to miss. Thank you all for such an amazing holiday ❤️

First holiday in this beautiful hotel me and my nana are celiac’s they accommodated us very well the rooms are immaculately clean pool cools you down quick staff are very friendly and seem to love working here they always are willing to help the chef helped me and my nana find the gluten free food, there is lots to choose from in the morning there is nothing to not like about this hotel and I will be coming back next year and a lot more in the future

Fantastico! Our whole family (including 2 teenagers) really enjoyed our stay at MYND Yaiza. We stayed on a half board basis, friendly staff greet you on arrival and explain how this works (credit is applied to your room and you use it how you like, lunch, dinner, bar!). Clean, modern, bright rooms, the majority of which are situated around the two pool sections (Relax and Family). We could always find a sun bed and parasols even though the hotel was busy. Plentiful hot and cold buffet is served in Lamesa restaurant, we all found something tasty to eat whichever meal we took there. I celebrated my 50th birthday whilst on holiday and we also ate in Lallama restaurant on site (a la carte and -10% discount if you’re on the half board/resort credit option). Welcoming friendly service and tasty food cooked on a charcoal grill. Thanks for decorating our room for my birthday! Located a short walk from Marina Rubicon (restaurants, bars and a market on Saturdays and Wednesdays), beach and Playa Dorada waterfront/strip, all worth a visit. Our only criticism of the hotel (and mainly down to our Britishness!) is that the bathrooms in our rooms were open plan. PS - thanks for the room upgrade!

We stayed here half board and cannot fault our stay at all, if we were to be picky I would say the food could be a bit more versatile but 2 out of 3 of us are fussy. Half board works in that you have breakfast included then have €23 per person to spend each day on what you choose, we struggled to spend our allowance of €544 but did not go without drinks or ice creams. The rooms are very modern and have excellent air conditioning and a ceiling fan, rooms are cleaned each day and beds so comfy we didn’t want to leave. The staff are friendly and entertainment is sufficient for the children. We highly recommend this hotel!

We booked this just over a week before flying (Jet2). Reading the reviews, some are quite harsh and could be off putting however, I am SO glad we chose to come here and will be returning!! Check in: We arrived at 10:30pm and check in was easy enough with the self check in system. We were told how to find our room and given information about breakfast - only criticism is this could have been given to us on email or via paper as we were so tired we didn’t fully listen! Room: We went to our room (a superior double) and found a clean, spacious room with twin beds. Not an issue for us personally. I know a lot of the comments say the open bathrooms can be an issue but for us, we just sat on the balcony or put our headphones on to give each other our privacy. The bath was large and the shower powerful. The drain in our shower smelt bad but we told reception and it was sorted within hours. We also opted into the scheme where you can gain credit for not having your room cleaned frequently which was great. There is a decent hairdryer, plenty of storage and a mini fridge which helped us on the bed and breakfast plan. No kettle though so take your own and a mug if you like a brew in the room! Air con was good. Only downside with our room (2715) is we were next to where all the linen and cleaning carts are, so we were woken up every morning around 7:15-7:30am by the staff getting ready for their days work. Pool: We opted to stay by the relax pool everyday and never had an issue getting a sun lounger. Some days there would still be free ones at 12pm which shocked us. The pools are freezing but we found the bottom one on the relax side to be ever so slightly warmer than the top one. The top pool was too cold to bear personally. Drinks: The bar opened at 11am and had a good selection of drinks. The frappe was especially good, I had one most days! Food: As I said, we did bed and breakfast. I am gluten free and I was pleased to see a dedicated gluten free area for breakfast away from the main breakfast area. Allergens were labelled clearly on all the foods which was great. The breakfast rotates items every 2 days but for us only being there for 1 week, this wasn’t an issue. There is a snack bar to buy food from between 1-5pm which my husband enjoyed the chicken and chips for €9 and pizzas served in the main restaurant 1-3pm which looked very nice. We chose to buy lunch supplies from the local supermarket and have them in the fridge. We just ate lunch on the balcony most days. For tea, we walked to the beach front and ate across a variety of restaurants there, which again was easy to find gluten free options (I did also join a facebook group for gluten free and Playa Blanca). Check out: Our flight was not until 9:30pm, so we asked about a late check out. Normal check out is at 12pm but we paid €55 to have our room until 5pm with our pickup time being 5:45pm. This just meant we could make the most of our day and get showered before flying home. We did h

Great stay at MYND Yaiza. Very clean, modern and a nice chilled atmosphere, lovely staff in all areas always happy to help. Shout out to Dani at the lobby bar such a sweetheart. Breakfast was fantastic, great choice. Very pleased with the hotel.

We weren’t overall impressed by aspects of our stay here We stayed in a junior suite in the relax area on the 2nd floor there isn’t a lift so you have to manage a large wide outside staircase to get cases up and this is not easy On opening door your presented with the bathroom area and bath right in front of you which is rather strange - it’s an open plan room with shower and toilet with frosted glass but not floor to ceiling so you can hear all through gaps ! The room was basic - similar to a uk travelodge The beds were comfortable There are no wardrobes there is an open clothing rail few shelves and drawers to put your clothes Free safe which was good Fridge empty not even a complimentary bottle of water like most hotels provide Free water filling machine in reception Air conditioning and ceiling fan good to keep comfortable We had a small balcony with only a basic table and chairs. Loungers would have been good as in other hotels we’ve stayed in Pool area was good - clean tidy and plenty loungers spaced out Towels you have to pay €20 deposit for which seemed rather high We only opted for breakfast which was very good lots of different hot and cold options. Lots of fruit yoghurt pancakes waffles pastries which suited me and husband enjoyed the hot food Bar area certainly not big enough and not good set up . The bar is in reception and the bar covers the outside terrace seating area too Seats in reception for bar and watching entertainment which was also in reception in other corner We did not like this set up and did not linger there in the evening Staff friendly and polite Good location for the Marina and main promenade area

Sorry for late review been very busy since returning from our fabulous holiday at MYND YAIZA. This is our 3rd vist to this hotel and we love it!! The staff cannot do enough for you asking us if we need anything just ask. It was my husband's birthday there was a bottle with a lovely note from the staff wishing him a lovely day. The credit system is great. You have the option to use at lunchtime or for everything meal. All guests were treated to a tub of fruit as we lay on our sunbeds, what a lovely gesture. The spa was also a lovely treat for my husband's birthday. Definitely worth the visit. Thank you all so much for our lovely holiday. We will be back very soon. A special mention to Estefania, Nataia, Carmen in the snack bar and of course lovely Alexa. Take care xxxx
