"On arrival we had a warm welcome with complimentary drinks and shown to our gorgeous room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The added extras and attention to detail were exquisite and in my book should be a 5 star hotel. Everything from the food and drink to the surroundings was absolutely beautiful. Also don't worry about taking wellies as they can be provided along with dry robes. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and will be back."

Port Na Craig Inn
"A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated."
Pitlochry Youth Hostel
"This hostel is truly a home from home. It is situated on a hill and has some great views of the town and hills surrounding. It is a short walk from the main street and all the shops and facilities. The town itself has three fish and chip shops (which includes the Chinese take away which also advertises fish and chips. There is a co-op and a premier convenience store. The hostel manager knows anything you might want to know and is always happy to answer questions always with a smile. The self catering kitchen is well equipped and complimentary tea and coffee is always available for all guests. My particular favourite points were that we had two pillows each and complimentary towels . There is also a TV lounge where the tv works . These are things that you dont always get in most hostels. I was sad to leave but have to say well done to the manageress and her staff here."

"We had a good stay here. Just be aware that they are owned by Westlands nextdoor and check in is there and breakfast is also served there. I didn’t know that when I booked. It was fine, but they appear to be renovating in the dining room. Our rooms were very nice and the gardens are very pretty in front of Claymore."

"We are staying here right now and have to say that this Inn is amazing. We had a wonderful warm welcome and everyone has been friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable with a superking size bed plus another single if needed. Two sofas and spacious. The view of the river from the bedroom is stunning. The food is delicious, from the breakfast to the evening meals. This is a very popular place for good reason. We heartily recommend this Inn and will definitely return!"
